Oh come on!
I think Matt is a pretty cool guy
He AC/10's hula girls and doesn’t afraid of anything.
Besides they are canon when you think about the Magistracy of Canopus.
I liked the video and agree that you should sell those concept arts as posters or something!
Oh I know! Hula girl paint scheme on 'Mechs!

The Atlas would look good with a grass skirt and coconut bra

We all want are favorite mechs in the game!!!!! This game is going to grow, if I see the writing on the wall, yes I don't think they will have enough even in the less than a year and counting time frame to have all we want but in a year plus, I believe they will. The only problem is besices all the people with all the money I seriously believe besides the hardcore MECH WARRIORS it is doomed not because of the following but it's going to come down to money. Granted if this game is a break through like I believe it is going to be ( I'm 37 and can't wait, see what I'm talking about we are going to have a demographic like you couldn't believe!!!!!) . The group that is putting the game on is going to need cash, or we are going to end up like all the rest great idea no backing. I would rather put up 40.00 dollars with a fee of 10.00 a year to have a true interactive game lets put some money into it have total wars for the planets we want to conquer or defend> I want to be able to come back after work on a Friday and be able to wagw war all weekend long with my Company bringing artillery, airstrikes, even sub-orbital bombardmaent onto everyone dumb enough to cross my path. If we don't have enough cash that is never going to happen, we are going to waste away to the realms of everyone loving to play, but DAMN no money. Listen there is no way I want this I just found all my old books and some of my ancient paper mech pages. I just believe we should be pro-active not wondering what happened.

I think I understand where you're coming from, man, but I also understand how normal all the excitement and desire to see more is; I think both of us do. So, I'm here to enjoy what I can, and I do intend to pour some cash into this game, especially because 8 months from now is NOT going to be like today.
Time for me to clean up my threads, again, hehe, so I'm gonna unfollow this one... my inbox has been absolutely crazy with posts all day, and I don't want to go digest.

So how do you plan to destroy this Urbie when your mech won't actually exist till the Clans invade, and when again is that??? So far as I see it's all Inner Sphere. But when the day does come call to me my padawan I shall show u the true ways of the Mech Warrior!!

Besides, now you folks know that adding a Hula Girl as a purchase will net some serious bucks - and you'd never have known if Matt hadn't said what he said! It doesn't have to be available when MWO launches - heck, we know and understand that there will be tons of content and 'fluff' items rolling out post-launch.
Hula Girl = pure awesome and good $$$ - thanks to Matt!

The other thing, which in my eyes was the worst faux pas. The Urbanmech comment. Seriously people. Like the man pointed out, the answer to this is in the F&Q. Obvious side step was obvious. People actually thought Matt did not know the difference between a Warhammer and an Urbanmech? Shame on you! You got trolled.
In conclusion I think everyone needs to lighten up a bit. Stop expecting every ounce of information to be expunged at a whim. And in the words of the famous EVE Online forums HTFU. To the developers active on the forums, continue trolling and delivering witty humour for the consumption of the majority.
