We are getting to the point where mechs (or at least very similar robots) will become reality.

Rejoice! Until SkyNet takes them over and kills us all.

Perhaps it was designed after a Cheetah to make it easier for the robot to chase down humans and rip them to tiny pieces with its razor-sharp robo-teeth attached to its eye-laser-shooting head that has yet to be added? Only time will tell.
