I saw topic about LRM and SRM, but i think its not right comparison with rockets. What did you you think about class of short range missle's MRM and SRM? MRM do very high heat and upset aim. SRM have a short cd do average damage, and dont have heat. I cant choose what is better. Hard choice :)

I think the issue is that MRM aren't going to be invented for another 9 years.

EDIT: sour about that second place.

This and we will be fighting moving targets.
At maximum range even an assault mech could have a slight chance of dogding an MRM salvo if he was at half speed when he started to dogde.

Which means MRM's would be near useless at long range against light mechs if the target is aware and the MRM's have the same travel speed as SRM's.

A real shame. I like MRM's the best of all the missiles (even though they're more like rockets).

Gotta love BattleTech.

Long Range Missiles? No problem. Short Range Missles? Sure thing! We've even got Streak hooked up to a few of 'em. But Medium Range Missiles? Sorry, Lostech.

I for one would love some MRM launchers. They'd make nice short range missile shotguns.

I was a pretty big fan of the Streak MRMs in MW4, but I think if we're to stick with how the two missile weapons work with TT values, I'd still stick with SRMs. Big punch and little heat for small tonnage.
