once you are in the mech lab (not mech select) you can expand the lower right info panel. there are all the quirks.

a mouseover view of the quirks on mech select would be really awesome now

Since Ac's are extinct in clans I will never use a standard autocannon in my mechs

C-ACs are slug LBX ACs, but since they can't let you swap ammo, they made an extra cannon instead. Not the same thing.

System is comfortably above min requirements - screen is 16:9 aspect ratio on 1366x768 HD, pretty standard monitor. Can force the "min res" but no option in MWO settings to match it. If you know of a work around, please feel free to share, but in the meantime, please don't assume I'm in the wrong, when clearly others are suffering the same issue.

Alrighty, takes a bit to get used to. My first thought on the mechlab was 'blah'. Been dinking with it a bit. Overall, not really a fan but, will deal with it (probably one of the few folks that never was a smurfy fan). Can leave it in column and do things like I used to <<shrugs>>.

Took a few minutes to realize quirks were there. For those wondering, select your mech. To see what, if anything, applies to something you are considering mounting (or is already mounted) to the mech, click it (or hover over it - if on the mech) and a pop up window will show weapon/item stats with quirks applying, at the bottom of the window.
((ETA)) As others have said, there is a Mech Stats box with an expand option that will show all the quirks for the mech.

Mech selection window is awful. Seriously. It's horrible to navigate and extremely user unfriendly.

The rest isn't too bad. Like most of the new mech lab tweaks.

It's better/worse....

Neatens up the mechs, makes it a little harder to quickly jump between them.

Especially having a lot of mechs, it can be a little easier to navigate tbh.

Am I wrong saying most of you haven't took a look at it on the PTS a while back while they were looking for feedback?

I realize now that I should have took a look also to see if it would be easy to locate a module or a cockpit item... I'm stll at work so can't see if this was improved, can you?

Well after playing around with the new UI a bit there are some improvements that makes life a little easier but there still is one main thing missing that Smurfy has....the ability to see your whole mech (hard points, armor and equipment allocations) on one screen at the same time. This new UI does make moving things around a little easier if you are already familiar with the mechlab in general, but for a new player? This is one time where less would be more, where simple would win over detailed. Is the new UI better than the old? In some way yes in others not so much. Is it "full smurfy integration"? Sadly no, far from it.
Please PGI have another long look at Smurfy and please revise this UI to be more like that one...let us work off one screen where we can see our whole mech at the same time rather that section by section with dozens of drop down menus overlaying each other (and thank you for your continued efforts to improve)

You CAN see your whole mech,, the option for doing so is just incredibly unintuitive and hard to see, if it is like it was in PTS. IIRC, there is a menu box on the right above the weapons window that has something like 'list view' or 'compact view'.... I' m typing this from my phone at work, so I don't have the program infront of me... I know it doesn't SOUND like it is what you're looking for, but it is. And will open it up so you can see the whole mech, with hardpoints etc, just like Smurfy's.

Excuse me, I'd like to ask where I can easily access the mech chassis shop (not via the store tab).
.
Thank you for reading.

Work around - if you can set a custom resolution for your vid card, do so to the 1600x900. Set desktop to this, then launch game. New res should now be available in MWO Settings, but be prepared to burn your eyes out trying to read the mini lettering. Still a poor choice of resolution and worse use of space once you see it in full.

[color=#373E4D]FOUR STEPS BACK with mech lab building functionality.... can no longer mouse over ALL yer damned mechs in mech lab to to review quirks... now you have to drill down to each mech individually... AND.. no mouse over quirks..

LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE and LOSE...... wtf.. really? Intentionally making us leave the game to get information to build mechs.. why the hell bother?

1) I cannot search for modules I've already bought and mounted in my 100+ mechs

2) selecting mech screen is da horror.

3) where are the mech's quirks?

The FoV slider does nothing for me. I have previously changed this in my user file which has now been reset and I can't get it back which is annoying. Is there a fix for this?

Is there a place in the new lab that tells the max engine size for a mech? I keep looking but don't see one. Maybe I am overlooking it.

Below the Warehouse box (center bottom in column/lower right in expanded). Smaller box that says 'Mech Stats'...to the left of where it says that is a expand icon you can click on.
