Yes its a low resolution, but to make a new UI WORSE for people with low resolutions just boggles my mind. Note that this UI layout stays the same up to 1680x1050 which is as high as my monitor will go.

Not everyone has access to higher resolutions there is no reason to actively penalize players making their UI experience WORSE then it was in the previous patch.

The original UI was better than 2.0, I see no reason to expect a different result.

Our only hope is that some nerdy 0.01%er uses his spare millions to buy this game and hire a new company to fix it.

Otherwise, click on mechs, pray for good hit-reg, and set your expectations on the floor.

None of us CB vets expected the graphics to look half as good 3years later.

Oh well.

Nobody is actively penalizing you and your low resolution, it's an unfortunate by product of change, unwad your panties and stop taking it personally.

You act like hotfixes aren't a possibility

The Warehouse alone is a massive improvement. As a 720p player, I don't see how it is worse. Stop exaggerating.

This is the universe telling you its time to upgrade to the 21st century monitor. Unless you are playing on a laptop, which I have to ask, WHY WOULD YOU GAME ON A LAPTOP?!?

*sigh*

You could have a lovely 37 inch monitor refreshing at 1ms speed like me, with an actual FULLY REALIZED GPU instead of the hackneyed version that gets slapped in to laptops.

So, is the mech layout only available for 1600*900 monitors?

Because the new one sucks balls. A downgrade from UI 2.0, which was a downgrade from the 1.5

Hopefully that does get hotfixed, because it's just unpleasant to use the current mechlab. It was in the Public Test, but this version is just...Terribad.

The only real way it's worse is that we lost the ability to view the overall mech.

I don't think many people use their laptops as their main gaming computer. Just convenience and portability sometimes. MWO is pretty miserable for it. Dragon Age: Inquisition is much newer, looks much prettier and runs 3x smoother.

you can buy a 1080p monitor on amazon for $100.

But yeah I don't see how it is worse than the old one...

Have you tried building a mech in the first picture?

Swap Omnipods. An arm and a torso.

They've removed useful features (automatically swapping to Omnipods tad, restricting Pods to the section you're currently in).

Without the expanded view; it's just awful.

I miss CB and our original lab!
