So far I find the new mech lab to be a significant upgrade over the previous one. I only wish the mech selection window was larger so I could just keep all categories open without having to scroll up and down.

LOL go away OP you have no idear, nice one PGI I actually like it lots, do yourselves a favour and just ignore these little whiners nothing you can do will be right with them. The players have been asking for this for years now we get it and the whine continues lol. I am willing to bet that most of these hardcore propessional whiners have not put in a cent into the game for a long time if ever.

Does it need work yes, but you have said that it still needs work and you have shown that you do improve things but I am happy that it is here at all, but as the saying goes you cannot please all the people all the time.

I certainly hope so.

The flat colors are a improvement. The extended version.. Well good. Would have to see the mech behind it but okay. The mech selection is bad because they removed the overview and made a dropdown instead.

Why did PGI ever get rid of the original lab in the first place? It was great! Why do the Devs have this aversion to it???

Yup, a few things could be added, I'm sure a couple things, removed. But in total, this thing is dirt easy to use.

Perhaps a bit more tweaking, perhaps... but ffs going back to the old mechlab hell?

Everybody defending the new mech lab should try it under 1600 wide resolution. Plainly put it sucks.

I can't claim it is because of this, I honestly think I've been playing this game too long, but as they say this is the drop that makes me go, at least for a time. And believe me when I say that I'm sorry, I'm sure PGI putted a lot of work into the new mechlab, but from my end it sucks and well as I said it's just the drop that made me fed up with the game. Without anymore bitching or whining, thanks all for the good times, there were lots of those, but there comes a time to say good bye.

PS: And sorry for all the friendly fire to everyone on the receiving end, it was unintended .... most of it :P

Facts: 2 click to select a mech and play with old mechlab,5 useless click now (6 with clan mech). Technology smarts life, MWO not... LOL

PGI just have to be special. They cannot use what is tried and tested, they have to reinvent the wheel, even if there are perfectly working templates for perfectly working wheels out there. I don't even care about the mechlab, it is mech selection that they just straight out slaughtered. Make something that took 1-2 seconds now take 10. And grey out all the rest of the UI while you are at it. Such hilarious.
