Two words
" Predator Vision"

In my opinion Thermal vision that actually worked would be a dramatic improvement. it was removed because of an "unfair advantage", but everyone has access to it and its not like it is going to stop people from using sniper a Mech with guass or PPC's. Mechwarrior is a Sci-Fi genre with giant robots that weigh up to 100+ tons walking around shooting each other, so i do not think it is much to ask to be a little unrealistic in Thermal vision Vs. the current Infrared vision we have now, which a lot of times does not even help identify terrain or targets for that matter.

The old thermal vision was so good, 9 times out of 10, you weren't using regular vision. That was a problem. Especially since it let you see farther, and clearer than regular vision.

Link name says it all. I really think this would be a great addition to the interface and am surprised it has not picked up more attention. I would like, above all else, for the game developers to provide me some feedback about the feasibility of the suggestion and whether or not it has even a remote chance to be implemented. I am sure others have great ideas about what could be done with a right click feature, or at least might be inspired by the notion to come up with something of similar convenience.

Does that not make sense? why would you handicap your self?
On a dev note i am sure they want players to look at the maps they build and be astonished with the textures, sprites and whatever else they throw in for a beautiful map, but all they would have to do is limit the distance of "predator vision". On another note Predator vision would be horrible to use on hot maps.. like night vision on bright maps, so there are plenty of solutions for the "overused vision" problem.

Kerensky forbid that vision modes actually have a purpose.

I'm just telling you what happened, and speaking from experience, it wasn't affected by hot maps enough. Not even close to enough to make me not use it in the caldera on Caustic Valley.

I remember a lot of players were complaining about the game being "Predator Vision Online".

There's a difference between the vision mode being helpful, and being flat out better than all others, on all maps.

And that is the key to FIXING a view mode. The thermal vision that we currently have is almost useless far less useful then it should be, but they could fix either of the two to be useful in situations that it should be useful in after all vision modes like that are supposed to be better then the naked eye.... that is the reason it was made. On a side note i think IF they fixed it predator vision would look much better then the current thermal vision.

Most wanted feature - devs stop making new contend before they made already existing content "excellent"... Realy - that "balance", gometry, maps unbalance etc makes me sad - come on, it took more then 2 years (to be correct even MUCH more!!!) to give AWS its "weapon depend geometry"...

P.S. Guys u've give a lot of prommisses already, focus on it! And give us freakin collision back at last!
Skip all upcoming content, focus on existing one!

I can absolutely agree with you on every point there. A new proper "Predator vision" would be kick ass, instead of brown- and-less-brown vision we have now.

As in the beta days, would like to see a page-tab-window for storing the currently favorite/active mechs (it was 4 sots in lower left screen way back).

Many have accumulated dozens of mechs and only play a few (swiapping some on occasion). It would be so convenient to have them right in front of you, as in beta, rather than spread out among the tabs- chassis, IS, Clan, Heavy, Assault etc... - multiple steps away before each match....

I would like the TAG reworked. More people would utilize the tool if it can be reworked. Personally just making the TAG invisible to the naked eye but visible while in NVG or Thermal mode would be just enough to see it utilized more often. One could even make it a perk or an up-gradable option to the TAG.

This ones a home run folks! If I may add Tags should not take up an energy slot and be mountable where there is space/slot and weight should be dropped to 0.25 of a ton or even no weight like cockpit modules. We have hand helds NOW that have ranges of over a mile. Come on Devs this is a no brainer.

Enemy mech types on the 'scorecard', but only after being ID'd by a friendly mech (paper doll pops up). Our computers can remember which mech was designated 'A' or 'B', but can't remember what the chassis was? Please.

-The ability to change hero Mech skins. As many people have said some find some of them so ugly the refuse to purchase.
-Friendly Fire on the end of game screen
-Damage taken on the end of game screen
-Critical hits for clan engines
-A true heat scale
-As someone else pointed out "pinpoint" does nothing
-The ability to save camo for different maps
-The ability to save loadouts
-A better way to see where modules are (things are better but not perfect)
-Skills tab should default to current mech or stay on last clicked mech

But more than anything I want to see collisions/knockdowns returned (as was promised oh so long ago)

Those numbers are taken from the rules, so slot, and tonnage costs don't get fiddled with.
