Is there anything that can be done to speed up patch downloads? I'm currently downloading at approximately .02M per second. Currently on second of four files (repair? I didn't click 'repair'.)

Also, I think the 'repair' downloads are overwriting the sdbinst that I applied to the EXE files so that I can run MWO without having to enter the admin password every frickin' time. Is there any way to stop that from happening?

Sorry to hear that lads but it took about 90 seconds for me in the UK, it might be an ISP issue for you.

If your problem is that you have files located in the game directory and the repair tool is deleting them, then what you want to do is go into the repair tool options before scanning and disable "Two-way Consolidation". When enabled, this option removes any files that are not part of the game's install base. On the other hand, if you are making modifications to any existing file, then no, there's no way to prevent the repair tool from restoring such files - that's the whole point of the repair tool. I'm assuming that the two-way consolidation is your issue, just wanna be clear about file modifications just in case.
