People want to shoot each other in a game about shooting each other. Who knew?

Since MWO offers no meaningful objectives, the players move the shortest way towards the enemy team. It is logical.

Thus, 99% of Alpine Peaks, Forest Colony and Polar Highlands stays unused.

Even games with "meaningful objectives" will see a degree of rotation around those objectives.

Objective based maps means objective based game modes. That also means optimally, you want to have some system of respawns, and better yet, selectable points for respawn. That means you can choose to respawn in Point B rather than Point A. You can for example, make a newly captured point a new respawn point, allowing teammates to reinforce that position quickly.

So much potential wasted on this game...if only it had the right game modes.
