But I guess in the end
WHK-P "Der Führer" Warhawk
I think it means "The Leader" or something...Since, Fandragon is the Leader of the KRL, my made up Army. My actual mech is a Vulture MK IV with the same name....
Führer mean "Guide", the one who lead the way.

But we can use imagination!
What about a Wolverine with this symbol in the camo, in the CT? (())
Hero version, of course!

... Not really the point of the thread to say what is your favorite mech, but to say wich one you would chose, and why you would give a particular nickname... Just like I made in the first post.

I guess it's not painfully obvious enough that I would choose my favorite mech of all time to have.

Now once the Stone Rhino gets released on vinyl I'll call it Rhynox.

One Mech, One NAME
All the others have apparently understood that.
You have your mech, sur. But his NICKNAME and WHY.
Get it now?
It's hardly rocket science, (but considering how some guy happen to be bad... I am not shocked to see someone not having understood the point of the thread... And that is scary.)

I may go with the direwolf.
Using a CT: CS SRM 6 and a single CLRM 20 in each arm, also adorning 2 LBX 10's 1 in each side torso. In case I run dry on the ammo I will have 3 ER medium lasers on a high mount on the side torso where the primes former Missile pod was.
Would be simply called "Zeta Lupus" after one of the closest stars from the Constellation "Lupus" which is latin for wolf.
This thing would pack quite a hefty punch. Twin LRM 20 launchers in each arm provides this Direwolf with excellent long range performance and indirect firing capabilities while the twin LBX 10 in the torso provides good mid range firepower using slug shots afar and scatter up close. The Clan Streak SRM 6 provides good firepower up close as well as well to deal with some light mechs and to detour them away. Three Series J7A Clan ER medium lasers on the high left torso replaces the former LRM 10 launcher and provides with good firepower while allowing the mech to use cover and some form of firepower when ammo runs low.
A clan double heatsink is moved to the legs to keep this mech nice and cool and to utilize the ice and water that is abandonment on most systems this features in.
Effective range: 350-500 meters.
Paint:
Winter environment camouflage / Ocean.
- Primary: White Slate,
- Secondary: Blue,
- Tertiary: Charcoal black.
(Lupus Slate, Lupus Blue, Lupus Charcoal) [in form of hero mech' naming scheme]
Would have mildly hindered torso turning speed performance but it makes up with that with relatively wide range in arm movement due to the added arm actuators.

Speaking of rules this threads basic only rules is "Favourite BT mech, It's name. and [optional] it's loadout"
This thing right here complies to BT building rules as well as MW4: mercs rules. (Even though I didn't actually use this thing in MW4: mercs, I however did use a simular build that's more ammo dependent).

You explained the mech, and the name.
That is largely enought.

When I first played MW2 I always had a DWF with 1 jumpjet, 2 PPCs, LRM20, and some medium pulse lasers. The inevitability of it completing the mission is where I came up with my name.
