(Not sure if this is the right place for this or not)
I just finished up a PuG match that went amazingly well, and I attribute all of our success to one player who took charge of the entire group via comms. He was polite, knowledgeable, directive and continually reminded us of the goal in such a classy and understanding manner.
CocoaJin, thanks for the awesome match man!

I wish there was a system to reward plays like that..
Something like giving once per day a shot out or special click or something that they can only get once per day and when he or she gets a amount of 10 or so he gets a title or something...
Just a thought

A system like that would be excellent. I'd love a commendation system, or a rating system. This is one of the few games where I encounter more friendly players than toxic ones. That being said, I still see my fair share of toxic players. Just all the reason to celebrate the players that help the community. Not bring it down.

I agree
Something like this
Say you can only give one person a + or good player mark once per day to only one person.. Then once the person that has received the mark or what ever would get a special weapon, title, paint job for his mech, or something like that.. To stop abuse I would say that the members in your own guild or unit cant give it to anyone on his team or even better that you cant give it to ANYONE on your friends list..
The programing would not be that hard to put in place but would be nice to have something like that to reward the great people that play the game. I've only had minor problems with people that play the game but thats about 3% of the total population of the game.. The rest are great sports win or lose and always a pleasure to play with...
Just some thoughts

I'd love to see a Commendation/Report system integrated to the end-match scoreboard. Give real rewards for sufficient commendations (limited to prevent farming) and take a page from LoL's Tribunal and have it set up so that PGI's ROM Investigators take a look at anyone who has too many Reports.

I'm sure PGI has thought about a player a rewards/shaming system before, and I'm all for it, but before the topic subject derails I just want to again state my appreciation for the player I mentioned in my initial post.
If I could give a commendation, I would. Cheers.

Thanks for the shout out!
It's my pleasure guys, really...just be sure to not shoot the all red HBK-4G or QKD-5K in the back.

This is nice to see. Well done CocoaJin, and good on you Erghiez for taking the trouble.
Interestingly, if PGI were to integrate anything into MWO, I'd rather see a commendation system than a "report" system. I've had a fair few matches where someone has stepped up and provided some comms instruction and even if the team has been unsuccessful, it's generally been enjoyable. I'd love for an official way to say "nice work" that was more than just typing "nice work" in chat
While sure, I've seen occasional bad behaviour in game, I think I've probably wanted to thank people more than curse them, and very few of the irritations have been sufficiently severe that I remembered them past the end of the match.
