The last king of House Cameron has been slain and the 6 kingdoms are at each others throats. The Ferro-Fibrous throne, forged from the collected Atlases of a thousand defeated MechWarriors, sits empty. Who will claim it?

So after binge watching the latest season, I figured I'd ask: Which Game of Thrones House do you think best represents which BattleTech faction?

Can you see the Steiners count their gold while wearing Lannister red?
Do the Davions and their death-prone Princes remind you of the Starks?
Does the single-minded drive of House Liao remind you of Stannis the Mannis?
Crying their Falcon screams as they plunge into battle, would a Jade Falcon warrior fit in with a Dothraki khal?
Do the pleasure palaces of the Magistracy of Canopus have the same flair as those found in Braavos?

And as a follow up question, what Mech do you think your favorite character would pilot? For me I think Ser Davos Seaworth belongs in a Centurion with the sigil of the Onion Knight painted on its shield.

Arya Stark would pilot a Stinger named 'Needle', because she named her mech. Lots of people name their mechs.

It would be easy to assume Clan Wolf = Stark.

With this assumption, Ned Stark would pilot a Dire Wolf named "Ice". Slow, but big and powerful, just like the Stark's ancestral valyrian steel sword. He would be an experienced MechWarrior, but past his prime.

Robb would pilot a Timber Wolf named "Grey Wind". Unsurprisingly, i named my TBR-C just like that.

I think Jon Snow would pilot a Timber Wolf too.. Named "Ghost". And you know what? I named my TBR-S Ghost too! Btw, i think in the books he says he was a better swordsman than Robb, so he would also be a slightly better MechWarrior.

Arya would want to be a MechWarrior instead of a noble lady, and she would pilot a light 'Mech: my bet is a Kit Fox, so she can fight as a water dancer dancing around with JJs lol. And she will remember to always use the "pointy hand" of her guns.

Poor Bran could not pilot a 'Mech.

Rickon would be too young ofc.

On the other hand, the Inner Sphere Houses would be the noble Houses of Westeros, and the Clans could represent either the Dotraki tribes or the Others themselves; the Starks would be House Davion, and their words "Winter is coming" would refer to the imminent arrival of the Clans.

Steiner would be probably Lannister; first, Ned and Tywin are on the same side(but not married :P ), then it is Civil War and Stark-Lannister conflict.

I have no time to write everything.. But in short, Tywin Lannister would pilot a golden Atlas, Jaime a golden Black Knight; Tyrion could have a modified cockpit for his size; of course, he would pilot an Axeman :D

Ser Bronn could pilot a Centurion or a Blackjack.

Ser Loras Tyrell? Not sure on this one. Maybe an Enforcer or a similar medium.

Robert Baratheon would have piloted.. MMh.. A Victor. Or maybe an Awesome.

Rhaegar Targaryen would have piloted.. A Grand Dragon? :P Or rather, a Highlander..?

Stannis would pilot a Firestarter.. Joking, he would probably pilot a heavy 'Mech like the Jager or maybe a faster one.

Renly would have pilot a pretty 'mech, not sure which one, probably a heavy or assault.

Bravoos would be more similar to House Marik.

Tyrion in an AxeMan, brilliant! Gotta get the artistically minded MWO folks to draw Tyrion in MechWarrior gear sitting on the shoulder of his Mech. I'd do it myself but stick figures are the extent of my abilities :(

Oberyn Martel would pilot a Spider in his duel versus Gregor Clegane's Atlas. Nimbly avoiding the brute and damaging him.

Until the brute got hold of him with his hand actuators and we're reminded that Spiders do not have an ejection system to get out of that cockpit....

After seeing what Stannis did to his daughter, he is definitely Kurita. That's the sort of heinous crap they are known for.

Maybe a Von Rohrs Coördinator, but I can't see even Jinjiro doing that to his own daughter. Mellissandre clearly pilots a Firestarter....

So...Gregor Clegane now pilots a Cauldron Born or some other zombie Mech and Arya Stark pilots an Assassin
While Sansa and Theon wish they had invested in Jump-capable Mechs...

They did make a game called

"The Succession Wars" where you had the same thing of five house and the map was split up in regions where you had to purchase units and jumpships to attack others etc...

Awesome game and I wish I didn't sell it a long time ago
