So it's all about RNG? But... There is a problem: the chance to get "slightly better team" - should be 50/50 too. There should be no stomp/lose streaks. So, why do I always end on "slightly worse" team? What have I done wrong? Paid not enough money? Haven't bought Wave 3? M? Tell me, why am I so special, that MM hates personally me?
You're probably doing something wrong.
I'm pretty much the exact type of player your OP was aimed at, but I run into losing streaks just like everyone else. I will eventually figure out that I'm leading the charge too often, relocating too often, or doing anything else too often that's slightly outside of my normal play, and that ends up being one of the primary factors for the loss streak.
If I end up with loss after loss against teams that appear fairly even, I take some time to think about how I played my previous matches, and most of the time I can figure out what I've been doing differently. Then I correct it, and more often than not everything goes back to normal.
Good players are constantly evaluating what they could be doing wrong, and they've had lots and lots of matches to figure everything out, so at the top tier you have players that very, very rarely make a mistake, and I'm not just talking about the group queue. Even in the solo queue, everything the top players do, from their loadout, to grid location, to positioning, etc. Everything they do is deliberate.
So you have a choice. You can continue on, evaluating your play style, and find ways to improve as a pilot. Or you can give up, ask for a refund, and go to another game where you'll run into the same problems, until you get fed up again and look for yet another game.
