Do to recent work changes, as I run multipel VM Farms, I have been issued the following machine specs (should have in about a week) and I was curious if this will run MWO?
X99 Rampage V Extreme Mother Board
Intel Core i7-5960x 8 Core OC to 4.3GHz (16 threads)
32Gigs of 2666 Ram
GTX 980 Ti 6GB GDDR5 w/PhysX Graphics Card
Supposedly Liquid Cooled, and Upgrade Fans and other Cooling Jargon I don't have a clue about.
Anyways, is this going to work since the machine was designed for multi-tasking?

I hope so; I wanted to be able to play while I work. Running 6-8 VM Servers and MWO on this beast should be viable.
Plenty of room to upgrade down the road as well.
Well, we shall see.
I may need tweaking help down the road; as soon as I get it, I'll post more details and benchmarks while running at full operations and then ask the community what I can do to get the most out of it.
Will only be running 1080p for now; so, I hope I can get at least 60fps at the highest or near highest settings (I should be able to); I know it sounds trollish, but considering MWO CPU heavy coding and heat issues, it really isn't a troll. I honestly do not know what this will be capable of when running those VM's in the background.
The VM's will be from 1 to 2 Threads per machine, and 2-3 Gigs of RAM depending on the Server paramaters (they will be running on a 3 TB Baracuda HD while the game and OS will be on a 500 gig SDD Samsung EVO drive).
FYI, might be able to OC to 4.5 GHz if I win the Chip Lottery.

You might have too lower the quality on mine sweeper. But I could be wrong about this. I suggest running the mine sweeper bench mark but I think you gonna need too upgrade soon hey. Jokes aside no problem with MWO why MWO is so power hungry I don't know the game does not even look that great.

If you want to game and run those VMs at the same time, good luck. Otherwise, OP machine is OP. Pls nerf.
