My PC is petty cummy, would enable or disabling my cockpit glass help with my FPS?

Yes, disabling cockpit glass will help, although I don't know by how much.

Be sure to have most if not all of your graphic settings on low also.

My main pc at home is an Intel processor and an Nvidia graphics card. I see no difference when turning cockpit glass off or on.

My wifes' machine is an AMD processor and a Radeon graphics card.
After the last patch, the ping on my wifes' machine went from being around 40-60 to pinging at 4000-8400.

The game became unplayable.

Turning cockpit glass off returned her machine to its normal ping.
