*I'm talking about UI 1.0*
Please give me back the ability to have 4 mechs added as shortcuts on the front screen with one click select. I don't know why it was removed in 2.0, and I was crossing my fingers it might have been brought back.
It was so handy.

Theres 2 things id like to see return:
1) 4-8 slot quick select screen to quickly switch between your favorite mechs
2) old style mech grid that let you see all the quirks for the mech and the old button you could push to see the smurfy layout
And a third new thing Id like to see added:
3) button to strip all modules off all mechs

I 100% agree. It was a very nice option that I still miss.

Clicking on the 3d model of the mech to select what part to work on.
Highlighted hitbox boundaries (I know it wasn't accurate) on all mechs to give you an idea what sections to armor best.

Honestly this was the easiest and fastest way to quickly move around your mech... click the actual mech picture.... FAST and EFFECTIVE... something the current UI sorely lacks in alot of areas..

FYI... these are all my own Pictures...at least the REady Mech List and the one above.... the empty one I cant remember if that was an Error or CRASH to Desktop or something.

The current UI has an expanded option to show the full mech smurfy style. It even lets you edit the mech., I think it's called Warehouse?

Honestly? I know it's childish, but if there's one thing I'd like to get back from UI 1.0, it would be the pilot portrait. Preferably with 10-20 different alternatives

I agree the BEST part of ui 1.0 was the mech ready list-grid. Featured at 0:46 to 1:06 in this video of the old ui. 1.0. How we all miss the mechs ready to go with out saved load outs.
Kudos to drbrontosaurs for saving it on youtube as google images failed me.

I agree, it's the little things like this that make games much more immersive and inviting.
I would take your idea 12 steps further...
1. Let us customize our pilot photo. Lots of colors and helmet types with things like mohawks and bling attached in order to create a unique visual identity. Make enough variations to ensure they all don't look the same. Advantage to PGI: More artsy stuff to sell!
2. When a teammate types in chat or talks in VOIP, display his photo in the lower-left corner of the HUD. The goal would be to recognize who's talking from their pilot photo.
3. I forget the other 10 steps...perhaps someone else can fill those in.

TBH, the windowed mode. I liked it way better.

Really missing that Ready List.
PGI? Anything?

Potential addition:A new Random drop feature.
Check the "Random Drop" box and the game will pick a random mech from your Mechbay to drop you in a match with (as long as the load out is valid). You won't know what mech your in until the lobby screen.
