It seems to me that most people are very happy with the new Mechlab.

So have you stopped using Smurfy yet? I mean for personal use, not for sharing builds on the interweb.

EDIT: My bad, should have been more specific.
I'm not asking if you use Smurfy when you're on your mobile phone while sitting on the toilet, etc. I'm not asking if you use Smurfy when you're not playing MWO. I'm asking if you're primarily using the in-game Mechlab to make new builds while playing MWO, or if you're still Alt+Tab'ing to do it in Smurfy.

Still use smurfy. Much easier to see quirks on smurfy in bulk (viewing many mechs)

No. It's still much better.

I prefer credit Smurfy then PGI.

So you use it only to view mechs, and you build the mechs in the MWO UI? Or you build mechs on Smurfy too?

I won't stop using it because opening a website is just quicker and it's still better than in-game mechlab.

Of course not!

Smurfy is still superior for:
- archiving and sorting builds in a file
- opening multiple builds at once and easily switch between them
- tinkering on builds away from home (*cough* work *cough*)
- and, still, easily send/link builds to others

Even if the ingame mechbay was superior to smurfy in every way in terms of usability etc., smurfy would still have its meaning because it is a totally other, detached platform instead of an ingame module

I still do most of my buildig in Smurfy and only use the real Mechlab when I have something I want to make real. I don't use the in-game mechlab to 'mess around' and tweak builds.

I don't use Smurfy too often. I will use it to research mech hard points or quirks. I'll also make builds to post on the Forum. Other than that, I just use the in game builder.

Smurfy for building stuff and Li Song for checking dps/heat/quirck effectiveness and so on.

Still use Smurfy. Old habits going back from closed beta do not die easily. Well, that, and Smurfy is still easier to use. Mech configuration has definitely improved in the UI, but it still needs some tweaking.

Smurfy.

The in-game MechLabd is indeed better than it used to be...but it's vastly easier to switch between 'Mechs in Smurfy, as well as Smurfy giving me more information than the in-game UI does. Still more user-friendly, and also that thing about dicking around at work...>_>

New mechlab is good, but Smurfy is still easier and more convenient to use. PGI would need to create a web-based alternate that's linked to my in-game content to make me even consider ditching Smurfy.

Of course we all still use smurphy...

BUT now with the new mechlab, when I'm in MWO I don't leave MWO to prebuild the mech in smurphy and then come back to MWO and build it that way.

Oh goodness no.

I don't understand the game's heat management numbers, I learned in Smurfy and that's how I think. Also, browser based, mobile and no chance of accidentally spending millions of CB.
