Don't say this. Everytime you try and run MWO on a potato, PGI removes graphical quality for everyone. It is known.

it would be fun if they introduce a new view, it was even proposed afaik, with skeletal buildings, everything schematic etc, it would be both useful and low pc load

Enhanced Imaging is a bit of easy mode.

Making mechs light up a different color than terrain at range and highlighting damaged components on a mech takes the challenge out of it

Heck, the different color at range was like our own closed beta thermal (Predator) vision. I miss that thermal actually (even if it was an OP sniping aid).

termal vision already does it on most of the maps

Except the "at range" part :).

Thermal used to work so well you could see the enemy at spawn on Forrest Colony. You can't do that with the current thermal. Now there is an artificial black curtain at about 700m or so.

Thermal stinks now :/

well, if that mode would give a somewhat significant advantage over the other ones, they could make it as a module

I want the old thermal with the new range. It looked cooler but needed the nerf, was really overpowered.

I have yet to experience any sort of FPS drop even on a 5760*1080 resolution running DX11 with most settings at high-very high.

You might want to check your stuff.

I don't think this game can run that system anymore.

and everyone is saying they have not been effected, and so asking for your PC spec, to see if they can suggest a few tips, which your ignoring and just getting ratty.

I've had if anything a slight increase in frame rate, and my ping sometimes drops under 100 which it hasn't for about 9 months

As Cathy pointed out, most of are NOT experiencing a drop in fps, if anything we're seeing an increase, so my question stands, what are your computer specs, as the most likely cause is hardware being behind the times.
