I was super-excited when the Arrow was announced. Six ballistics on a Blackjack was pretty much exactly what I'd wanted in a Blackjack, and the stock configuration on was awesome. A minor tweak to change the included lasers to pulse lasers was all that was required for excellence.

Now? Well, they killed the Flea, so I'm not looking forward to that so much. I'm hoping they bring the Raptor, though, because that would be a great little hard-mode 'Mech that isn't just a reskinned Locust.

But yeah, the Shadowcat has precisely everything I love in a mech. It has speed, stealth, jump jets and a gauss rifle. It doesn't get any better than that, for me.

it will rather turn out too up, at least i don't see much in it than a fat kit fox with 1.5 tons of podspace more

or a fat raven cos it has high hardpoints for ppc/laser sniping and masc

I haven't really done the TT Math, so I don't know about that. Are you comparing the podspace of a stripped Shadowcat with full armour with that of a Kit Fox with full armour, ECM and 6 jump jets?

But yeah, I'm happy with it being underpowered, if that's how it turns out. I enjoy a challenge. I'll probably try to run the Shadowcat as a gauss sniper, even though I imagine PPC / laser sniping will be more effective.

A. That is the prettiest Annihilator iteration I HAVE EVER SEEN.
B. Dont know what for, its gonna get negative ballistic quirks up the wazoo.

Mine was the Fafnir up till the great gauss nerf of 2012.....Now Its possibly the super nova, but with clan weapons going the way they are im sure this mech wont make it either...so I'll settle for my Direwhale, and the MadcatMK2, since its a standard clan mech and fully customizable.

stripped kfx with maxed armor maximum can have 14.5 free tons (a version without jj)
stripped adr with maxed armor has 15.8
they say shc will have ~16 with maxed armor (all its versions have jj and, as we know, clan jj are fixed with nails, masc is fixed too, they say it will have ~16 free tons with all that)

it's obviously should be larger than adr and kfx though probably not by much
it has more true dubs
it has a better placement for ecm
it has better energy hardpoints for sniping
kfx has one better ballistic hardpoint (which cannot take gauss though, maximum c-uac10)

so overall it seems decent but nowhere near top tier, probably not up, but may be up if it get bad hitboxes/scaling or something

I have always admired paired Gauss Rifles on an assault. Hence my affinity for

Cerberus, Gunslinger, Pillager, and odd enough, Viking

Nearer to timeline, I would like the Penetrator, Hercules

Clan wise

I would like to see Bowman, Savage Coyote, Rabid Coyote.

las, there is next to zero chance of them happening.

5. Turkina - 95 tons of clan rockets +/- versatile hardpoints on JJ = Hell YEAH! Plus, a neat toad-like look.





4. Hellhound - based on MW4 redesign - one of the best mediums in franchise plus a cool new look with high mounted loadout.




3. Piranha - machine-gun freaks would understand me: BrrrRrrrRrrrRrrrRrrrRrrrRrrrTttt....!!!



2. Blood Asp - the Beast on tho legs and one of the most charismatic designs of whole ClanTech.



1. his majesty FAFNIR - 2 heavy-gausses under an EC. What coul you ask more?! Ah, "Ammunition depleted", yes...
