Is it possible to recreate one of the unmentionable mechs using an existing mech frame? I want to go for whm 6r or k.
Whm-6R

When you do this. You realize the unseen are really not as fabulous as nostalgia suggests. Its all aesthetics. And for that we are very sad. To that end we all want the unseen.

Based on the load out, alone, I don't see why an Ebon Jaguar, Timberwolf or Hellbringer couldn't pull it off. Hellbringer would probably look the closest, IMHO. Heck if you don't look twice MWO's version of Hellbringer almost is the splitting image of a certain Destroid...

Except those are Clan and the 6R is IS.

Not necessarily.

Hellbringer could probably do it.
As far as the original IS variants... the closet thing we have is the Mauler, I think. Unless you completely ignore hardpoints layout and just go with raw loadout.

Frankly I don't care enough the brand's story line to care but when I went to Sarna to see if the 6R had a decent enough load out I did see that the 6R did have a clan tech refit so just roll with it, I guess.
I mean if appearance is all you care about the Hellbringer is as close as we'll likely get visually. Personally if I were the lead art designer and saw the Hellbringer's model and had any familiarity with Harmony Gold's history of law suits I would have not only fired every person who worked on the model but everyone one who so much as casually glanced at the modeler's computer screen and never stopped to say "Whoa dude, Harmony Gold will have us and our families executed if you draw that!" because wow is it close to the Tommahawk Destroid in appearance. Granted the Hellbringer does share some similarities with it's basic configuration to begin with but still.

Use a grasshopper! 70 tons, IS, just like the war hammer. Put the SRM6 in the head slot, and leave off the machine guns And JJ for armor. Boom, instant war hammer 6K.

It would have to be and SRM4, note enough critical space in the head for an SRM6.

My bad, you are right. Still, pretty close to a Warhammer, just use SRM4 as you say and leave out the machine guns, which are pretty useless in pairs under MWO implementation anyway.
