If CW had increased rewards in these sorts of events then I might actually bother playing it ever, maybe, but as it is the matches are just too long in a game mode that I don't even like much. I haven't played CW in months, and will continue to not play because I don't like it enough.

It doesn't really bother me a whole lot though because I'm not invested in CW in the slightest anyways and playing 20x3 matches in other modes is probably more than enough playtime for me anyways, but the point is even with extra prize redemptions from CW I'm still not playing it at all.

I think two chances based on score of 80, maximum of ten games, would be fair. I think the most important commodity is time. So since CW is twice as long, if you qualify, u get two chances.

Nonsense, CW can take fifteen minutes, which just as long as a normal game that runs out the time. You already get better Cbills offa it than you do normal queue, no reason to show more favouritism. what I love about these events is it rewards both CW and normal play, so everyone gets points. Yes, you will get points on average slower in CW than normal queue, but guess what? Half the events they run don't even take CW into account.

So yeah, I'm happy with this event, even though it does draw me away from CW games, it is nice to try normal queue every once an awhile to remember why I love CW.

Silly pole, to much whining, if you can't get 80 points in CW, every match even when stomped by a top team, you shouldn't be in CW

The average CW match does not take 15 minutes. If yer in an organized group against a random group then sure it can take 15 minutes. That is not how the vast majority of matches are however.

well a non cw match can easily take 5 minutes and it happens way more often than those 15 for cw

This petition is NOT about the 80 match score. I get more than twice that amount on a regular basis. This petition is about time invested for the rewards you get.

I vote yes.

You are committing a lot more time in CW than you are for regular matches. If anything, a CW match should be worth double (two tokens or whatever).

For the < 5 mins roflstomps in a regular match, you have to commit to at least 15-20 minutes for a CW roflstomp.

I'm not saying we should measure in roflstomps, but more time spent should indirectly mean more rewards.

Besides, CW is barren w/o reasonable incentives.

CW is barren for me cause it lacks imagination. Even with double the rewards, I ain't touching it. <_<

I fully support this claim. It makes sense.

Getting 30 points on regular matches or 80 in CW presents almost the same difficulty. This problem here is time to get the reward. While it is common to have 7 minute long regular games, it is not that common to get 15 minute long CW games.

Fact: Most of the "nayers" in this thread didn't even read the OP properly, jumping into accusations of incompetence to the author.

Yay.

Yes, you have 4 lives to get the 80 score. But you also have gameplay that is geared to winning via the objective rather than killing mechs. I've been in many CW matches where half the winning team did not make a score of 80 (and more than half the losing team). Also, CW gives you no experience and less of a C-bill reward.

I'd like to see one (only one, though any single one) of the following done to even it out:
- Lower the minimum match score for CW to gain the reward
- Make it "minimum match score OR on the winning team" for CW
- give a second level for CW where you could win a second award for a given match (such as one for match score and one for winning)

no comparison SOLO = 10 times faster to generate prizes

example wait times

CW 5 mins to 20 mins before a drop
SOLO 1 min to find a game

CW PUG stomp = 13 mins to normal 20 mins to long 30 mins. & you have to wait for your drop deck
SOLO get 30 points in 3-5 mins or less and then drop out once dead and start a new game with another mech.

CW looking at a min time of 20 mins cycle time , with 30 mins being more likely due to low population.
SOLO can be done in 5 mins cycle time every game accept Alpine

I would rather petition to just remove cw entirely, few would miss it.

I personally like the 4 drops vs just one

its more MWLL like IMO and much better than the 3-7 mins go to noob hill and see who can peep snipe the best.

Here is another thought why CW needs to be on equal terms with the other game modes in these type of events. You die early in Skirmish,Assault,Conquest you can drop out and grab another mech and get back in the queue. You die early in CW you are screwed. You have to wait until the match is over to play CW again.
