Mad Dog. Fit 2x UAC5 and whatever else.
Then try to get games as good as you can get in a Dragon 1N.
mad dog with 2xuac5's... but why do i have to play it with your style of weapons? can't i just configure it myself? also dragon is a good mech it's nice and fast and can dish out.
Lets just name a few things that really makes a good player.
-pressing R! then looking at your enemies armor situation and attacking them from that information while your also engaging them.
-Reading chat for information (if your team is communicating)
- knowing when to peek and knowing when to let them peek
-Prob one of the most important ones! Knowing how to spread the damage! somone shoots you with high damage spread that **** out knowing where to let LRMS to hit you.... (it's mostly better to take lrms in the back) in many situations saving your front armor for the brawl.
-Timing! Somone alphas you. you spread their alpha now they have no weapons for the reset. you fire yours and your keeping track of their timing they fire you turn your torso and let your useless arm absorb the damage now it's your turn again.
-Not bitching about LRMS! Instead giving locks to your lrm boats... so as your brawling that atlas or Dire he is taking LRMS and your FIRE!
-Weapon concentration of Fire..... simply put awesome 9M with SRM's.... <---- if you dont understand this... then you should do some research.
- On many maps you can hide in smoke or particles use night vision the smoke dissapears and you can see the enemy clearly and they can't see you... till you fire at them a couple times and they trace your line of fire but it's already to late at that point. (Thermal vision doesn't do the same thing to smoke)
-Use thermal vision on terra therma and many other maps to see where enemies are.. it's free lasik eye surgery but any little black dot you see is a mech.
-know what you can and can't do! What makes a good light pilot... sneaks up behind somone and toasts their back if not killing them this is a light doing his role but you don't see a light going head on with an assault... if you do... it doesn't end welll mostly for the light. this doesn't mean the mech sucks cause it can't kill an atlas straight on it just has a different role and a good mech pilot knows this and can deliver.
There are tons of different strategies and I'm far from perfect or knowing them all infact I keep trying to come up with more
These skills are pilot BASED! and is what makes any mech a good mech cause it's based maily on pilot skills and knowing thy mech!
Please if you think other wise please leave a polite post correcting me and help me be even better.
