I just noticed... there doesn't seem to be any way to rename my mechs anymore o.o The names are still on my old variants, but I can't seem to find how to change them in the new UI. I need this feature to distinguish between some of my mechs...
And, as others have stated, it's REALLY inconvenient to see how many mechbays you have free...

The rename feature is still there. It just changed location and might be a little tricky to spot in the new UI.
See that pencil icon just to the left of the mech name? Click on that.
