Ok so we all know why they were changed, people use to snipe like crazy with them on certain maps. Currently they both only reach out to 625m. IMO and I'm sure many others the range of these alternate vision modes needs to be increased to at least the default targeting distance of 825m.
Additionally the Advanced Sensor Range module should increase these vision modes equal to the radar range increase.
On many maps this change would in no way give anyone any advantage (thermal sucks on several, as does Night). What I'm looking at here is that these vision modes on most maps are far worse than normal vision. Advanced sensors is a useless Module unless your a LRM boat and the enemy has no ECM (not likely) so adding range to the vision modes from it would make it somewhat worth while to buy.
Over all I think these changes would give a balance to the different vision modes, and make an underused module worth the c-bills.

And please turn the heat vision thermals back to the blue color type. It looked so much better and was more CP friendly. It's the future, we have white thermals now. In the future they should be blue.

I always disliked the way night vision and heat vision are done in this game. It doesn't look good, nor very convincing. It looks as if the Soviet Union was robbed by time bandits in 1976 to acquire the technology.
