Unable To Purchase Spider Bundle

Hi Guys,

Been having this problem for about a week now and have already raised a support ticket. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem:

Tried to purchase the spider bundle, confirmation screen loads ok and I have enough MC, after that a message comes up saying the the purchase has failed.

Things I've tried so far:
  • Restarting Computer
  • Using the repair tool
  • Having a friend log in on my account to try.
Purchasing a mech a-la-carte (using C-Bills) has no problems.

If you have the 4300+ MC you need for the purchase, I honestly don't know what to tell you. The Bundle comes with it's own mechbays, so it's not that. You have the MC, so it can't be that either. This leaves one possibility so far:

Your connection might be unstable?

I hope someone else can come and give you a more informed opinion.

Nope, connection is very stable, never got disconnected in game before.

Yup. They have replied but the problem still persists. Awaiting support escalation now.

To Any PGI Staff reading this.

First off, well done for bringing one of my favourite table top games to the PC. I know that you guys are probably very busy.

However, kindly take the time to read through an email that you are replying to in order to put it in context.

When I first encountered the above problem, one of the first things I did was to restart my client to see if it solves the problem before sending an email to support. The email reply that I got back asked me to restart my client to see if that solves the problem.

I then went on to the 2nd and 3rd items in my first post to see if it solves the problem (it didn't). As a follow up email to support, I mentioned all 3 things that I did in an attempt to solve the problem.

I just received a reply from support asking me to try using the patching tool............. when I already mentioned (and that was reflected in support's email reply) that that didn't work..........

Hmm that's really weird as you shouldn't have any issues with this. Can you also try running the Repair Tool to see if there's perhaps any mismatched files that can be causing this issue? It can be found on the Patcher, under the Options menu (Pictured as a Cog beside the Close/Minimize buttons)

Yes I tried that. I also tried using the repair tool and asking a friend to use my account to try. All were unsuccessful.

Sorry did you get my message before about this? I was curious if you had tried again to purchase this pack as usually issues like these can be resolved with a client reboot.

Have you tried purchasing a mechbay (they're 50% off right now), to see if your MC can be spent?

Yup Bought 2 Mech bays, and 3 mechs with MC.

I can think of ONE thing that might cause the problems, but I honestly don't believe it's possible.
This all hinges ont he game giving you the mechs BEFORE giving you the mechbays, in the loadorder. IF that is the case, then having enough free bays would solve it.
I honestly don't think this can actually happen, but I literally have no other causes for why you can't buy the thing.

Not sure, I just bought the Trebuchet bundle and it works. But I had 2 empty mechs bays when I bought so you might be right.
Something for support to look into if they have time?

Whddya know? I didn't think that was it, because I assumed all the bundles were operating in an identical fashion.
