Do you strip engine/weapons/modules from each mech, and configure only the mech you are playing ?
I personaly prefer to have all mechs fully equiped with everything on max tonnage. All of them.

So i usually have enough gear to kit all of my mechs out (because i don't have that many of them)

Now over a hundred mechs later, I've amassed enough equipment that I've been able to fully equip most of my roster. The exceptions are still XL engines and modules, cuz that shizz is still expensive.

Which is part of the reason I'm always c-bill poor.
That said, sometimes ill reconfigure on the fly, like swapping LRMs on a mech I PUG with for SRMs when I drop in CW, or vice versa.

I prefer Legumes....Cashews really.
Oh man, those nuts are pretty great too.
I also bloody love pistachios. It's a damn shame that they're really expensive (at least where i live, not sure how it's in other countries)
But, uhh, let's not turn this thread to a discussion about nuts.

To be clear... I got mechs that are essentially shells... but I don't play them. If I play them with any regularity... they're fit with all kit and fully moduled.

Seven million is enough to buy and kit out most Light and some Medium 'mechs just on its own, with money left over on the Lights. Play a few matches here and there with 'mechs you kitted out already and you're fine.
Things only get screwy with modules, which is why I don't use modules.... yet. Once I have and have kitted out all the 'mechs I want from the IS, I'm going to be playing for money to module them, and then I'm going to start puttering about with clan 'mechs in between keeping up with IS releases. Moduling days are not too far off for me anymore either- by mastering everything I buy and selling off things I don't want to keep after mastering them, I've gotten to the point where I'm partway through mastering nine already customized 'mechs at a time and on top of that I've already kitted out another twelve 'mechs that I haven't even started driving.
If we take into account that I purchased both Resistance packs and the Guardian phoenix pack (and a Jester for creepygrintimes) and otherwise have only spent MC for 'mech bays, that means that with only c-bills I would still be working on mastering 'only' 8 already customized 'mechs and partway through kitting out the ninth. This is not even counting how many times I've refitted 'mechs I own with completely different loadouts- my KGC-000 has had at least four different setups with different engine sizes, and I'm pretty sure I changed the loadout in my 4H Quickdraw in ways that altered the engine size at least five times, just to point out a few examples.
Which means it's completely possible to afford fitting all the equipment aside from modules permanently in each 'mech you own, and still gain ground on C-bills over time. Heck, if you just buy one of each module and shuffle only those around, you'll still manage just fine.
So no, I don't 'share' equipment, and I think it's kind of silly to do so.

I share engines.
Edit: Same goes for modules!
