Well, if you check the patch notes http://mwomercs.com/...05-16-jun-2015/ for tomorrow, apparently they're fixing Jaeger arms already.

Looking forward to seeing it. I wish they gave the Jagermech some long gauss rifle barrels though, like the ones the Warhawk has. The gauss rifle is the closest thing this game comes to a sniper rifle, and yet most mechs have really short and stubby gauss rifle barrels.

100 c-bills says good or bad ppl will complain

Uhm, most players are actually really happy with the way mechs look in this game. For most player, it's one of the biggest selling points. Of course people will complain, but the complaints are generally drowned out by the people who love the mech designs in this game. Indeed, most people who complain about the Jagermech will also talk about how they love almost every other mech design.

Does this mean my dual gauss Cicada will finally look like a dual gauss Cicada? At last, something to be happy about!

I swear if they mess up my dragons...

Also, I saw a video of a Jagermech with a yellow stripe across the AC/10 barrels, I hope they bring that back but it changes with one of its colors.

I've asked Russ if they can look into Awesome's survivability, seeing the incoming patch update to Jenner hitboxes. They may look into it after the geometry update comes about.

I can live with slightly uglier geometry on the Awesome if they are not particularly horrendous and if that meant better hitboxes (hitbox buff's nowhere a replacement for being wide, but it will do something).

It may be the right time to request for survivability buffs to certain 'Mechs when they get their geometry update.

Take comfort guys, unlike the Catapult or the Jaegarmech, variable geometry will actually look better on the Dragons and the like.

we'd like to think
Let me remind you that it seemed incredibly difficult for PGI to ruin the catapult's simple yet elegant geometry, but they found a way.

I think the Dragon will turn out OK (although the arm cannon could concern me, if they didn't learn from the Centurion).

The Awesome is definitely concern worthy. The PPC barrels are more than likely going to look too small.

Ultimately time will tell.

I think the fears for the Awesome's geometry update are highly irrational. After all, the Banshee has big PPCS as part of its weapon geometry. Besides, it always had big barrels in lore.

Well a repair job was the Jager..and not the Catapult.

I still don't get the catapult design, or what was being smoked the night they came up with what they did.

simplest and best way would have been

To have had two boxes hang out from the sides and fill them like an old tower hi-fi system or a tower pc, and the 'cassettes slot into the tower, much like you fill a PC tower with DVDread/writer, extra HD etc, not this untidy mess we have now with massive lrm 20 boxes with lumps stuck on the sides and underneath

Didn't Russ say once they'd finish the first pass updates before doing revisits? If I am remembering correctly, then soon™.

I don't think I've ever seen a depiction of a Catapult K2 in lore. I'm sure there's an official mini available though, or an official kit to make a K2 anyway.
