Anyone's been following E3 this year? Comparing to previous few years, which were the end of the last console cycle, this year's been pretty great.

Bethesda dropped the bombs, Doom 4 and Fallout 4. Also Dishonored 2, one of the few successful new brands in the past few years.

While EA's new Star Wars Battlefront seems to be the hot cake, I'm a whole lot more interested in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst. As for Mass Effect Andromeda...I'm not expecting much from Bioware's bankrupt creativity.

Wasn't hoping much for Ubisoft conference, but they did drop three new Tom Clancy titles: Rainbow Six: Siege, The Division, and surprisingly. Ghost Recon Wildland.

Not much happened to Microsoft conference, comparing to Sony conference during which they dropped Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 remake and Shenmue 3 back to back. And I witnessed the most amazing collective orgasm on Twitter.

And a few more things too, a new Hitman game, Killzone dev showed something about robo-dinosaur, and Shadow Warrior 2 was announced before E3. Expecting today's Square Enix conference giving more info about FF7, Hitman and most importantly, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. So yeah, this year's been pretty good.

Doom is all I want, hopefully things haven't be derailed too badly since Carmack left. Outside of that, I cant help but cry every time Nintendo talks about anything.

I have lost all hope in them.

I always follow e3 pretty closely, and have been having a pretty good time with it this year.

Microsoft didn't really do it this year for me, I'm not particularly a fan of Gears or Halo, so not really anything stood out. Although Dark Souls 3 is massive hype train for me.

Sony was cool, excited about FF7, even if others aren't. FF7 is a fun game I have wanted to reply it lately, sure it's not the best game ever but it is memorable. Last Guardian and No Man's Sky made me happy. When that guy for Destiny came on stage I lost interest, and Horizon (Robot-dinosaurs) looks pretty meh so far. The girl in the trailer talked too much for me to enjoy it.

Call me a sucker but I thought Nintendo's whole Muppet opening was cute, and I liked Miyamoto's explanation of how Star Fox came to be. That guy actually cares about games, and I respect him for it. Not really any games I'm interested in, well besides two. Fire Emblem If (Fates I guess in the amerikaland) and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (which is also getting a name change to fire emblem shin megami tensei apparently). Both were only shown in brief cinematic trailers, but the hype is real for me.

Square Enix kinda let me down, although I suppose that's to be expected. I was hoping for some FF15 news, not all those stupid ios games. Just Cause 3 looks fun, in a Michael Bay blow everything up 'Murika kind of way. Hitman and Deus Ex both look solid, and a new Nier is pretty cool, but otherwise not really much to talk about.

Helmstif your post sums it up very well :)

I'm mostly just watching the trailers and gameplay videos on youtube and not the whole press conferences.

-No Man's Sky looks pretty interesting but I hope it has a lot of events/quests/activities to fill up that huge world or it might get boring fast.

-Just Cause 3 looks like a solid fun timesink just like JC2 but I might wait untill it's discounted on steam.

-Not sure what to think of the new Mass Effect, I enjoyed the first one and part 2 wasn't bad but it went downhill from there.

-Star Wars Battlefront: can't wait to try it, I'll have to see if I can convince some of my friends to buy it.

-Fallout 4, Dishonored 2 and Deus Ex Mankind Divided are probably my top 3 most wanted games, definately most wanted single-player games :)

-Metroid: used to be a fan but that DS game just looks like another horrible Nintendo spinoff...

-New Tomb Raider looks cool too, I hope it's not just a rehash of the previous one though.

Holo Lens was amazing. I know you don't think MS did much, but seriously, did you see the MS demo with Holo lens?

So...not much happened yesterday. Squeenix happened, not many news other than what was revealed yesterday except for Just Cause 3 (which I personally don't care much about).

But apparently Gears of War is getting HD remasters on PC. That was nice.

I thought Doom 3 sucked balls.

Oh you can say that again. I actually got bored by Doom 3 and dropped it half way through. Then I played Doom 1 with Brutal Doom mod and it was the best thing ever.

I think Just Cause 3 looks great. Story is terrible like the second one but who cares. You play JC for the hilariously fun game play, and how great it looks. Looks like they took what everyone loved from two and cranked them up to 11. Aside from that I've been waiting six years for FO4, cannot wait. I'll be in line at midnight.

Edit: FF7 remake is not likely to disappoint either.

All they have to do is just up the graphics. Literally keep everything else as is, and the game will sell until the end of time.

After seeing what happened on my Twitter feed that night, that literally everyone lost their sh**, I'm inclined to believe this is very , very true.
