Normally I stick up for PGI. Release day for Clan wave three, supposedly a big deal for PGI, But they really dropped the ball on this one. PGI you should be ashamed of yourselves, This should never have made it to release without someone checking the Omni-pods for the new mechs were available to be changed.

Poor, Very Very Poor.

You can't change omnipods on the new mechs?

You can remove them and put them on different variants, but you cannot purchase ANY pods for them.

EDIT: Nevermind they just fixed it for the first 3 variants.

I believe this has changed, but you may need to relog. The bonus variants should still be unavailable, though.

They didn't allow the purchase of the Pods due to the 4th variant, they've now allowed the purchase of the Pods EXCEPT for the 4th variant.

Sure is some hatred for a mistake that has already been fixed. I could understand this kind of juvenile limb flailing if they said "working as intended" or took 2 weeks to fix it.

It's PGI, if they do anything people complain, that's just how it goes. You'll find this applies to any game dev out there, just check their forums, anything they do, people complain.

Looking back at 20 years of gaming online, I can't recall a single exception to this either, even Dynamix with Tribes had the problem, think they were actually the first devs who coined the Soon© after they missed a timeline and the forums rode them hard over it. And Dynamix could almost do no wrong according to the Tribes community, still had the people who complained every time Dynamix did anything.

Don't know what happened. I patched then it suddenly told me I had to run the repair tool. It's repairing files now after downloading 25 patch files.

The user base turns me off to this game a lot more than any of PGI's mistakes.

Actually, they flipped a switch and them available shortly after they were made aware of the issue. No need for the repair tool on this one.
