My only complaint so far is the torso twist range. I haven't gotten the double basics yet, but man... 70 degrees in a humanoid mech just seems weak.

70 degrees? Wow. Lame.

Can't play mine until I get home in two and a half hours, but damn...did not see that ridiculously limited twist arc. That's going to make the D's 7E right arm and its lack of elbows just actively painful to play. Probably going to have to drop down to the 4E arm just to get that extra bit of lateral motion back.

Just depressing. I was afraid they'd pull something like this and choke off the thing's agility. Jerkwads.

I like the executioner so far. For the Ebon, I feel they got the torso size a bit too small.

As I feared. Masc is gimmicky at best. Free tonnage is too little to make anything out of it but a laserboat. And the Gargoyle boats lasers better than the Exe does. It's a shame. I hoped I could run at least 2x UAC5 with decent laser backup on it,
but it cannot compete in that regard with the Jager or the Phract IMO. So Wub Wub again.Meh.

Oh and I cannot have hands on it. No actuators available.

Also I hope the unlock the third color channel soons on the Exe and Ebon. I need to paint them black.

Unfortunate that I'm left with 4 tons when running 13 c-spl.

(lol)

Maybe go 13 ER-Smalls and a UAC/20?

Its proving somewhat fun so far, but the CT hitbox is pretty colossal. And when I mean colossal, I mean.. It puts pre-fix direwolf CT to shame.

Indeed front CT does seem rather large.

Agreed front center torso is a bit to large.

Disappointed actually.

Negatives

1) JJ and MASC capable Gargoyle without the speed.
2) Does not use ballistics well.
3) No missile options.
4) Torso twist is crappy.
5) CT needs to be smaller.
6) Not enough free space to do much but Laser Vomit.
7) Not enough CT weapons options.

Positives

1) Ugly as hell.
2) Cockpit sounds are cool. Especially MASC.
3) Decent speed and jump distance.

Works great.... if you have the D..

2 Large pulse way up by the cockpit itself.

3 med pulse 1 in the torso 2 in the left arm (not nearly as knuckle dragging as the right).

And it has get away from the cop speed (sorry VND- ST. IVES blues. ) :D

It's jus a Gargoyle, and we all know how super duper that is, except it has masc and jj. Think I won't be playing mine very much.

I've got a D loaded with the 2 torso LPL, and 6 arm ERML. 68 point alpha with MASC enabled peeking seems quite effective, until an atlas charges your face.

I've had some pretty awesome matches, ever everyone I shoot dies or runs away screaming, and I've had some poor matches where I get focused right off the bat and die barely over 100dmg (CT is big).

One positive is that you can recover from mistakes pretty well, backing quickly into cover or running for the rest of your team if they leave you alone.

The thing is awesome. Out of the box 500 to 800 damage without any skills. Pilots real smooth and MASC is fun to use. Used it to get into and out of trouble fast. The JJs are just the icing on the cake. Did I mention it is durable?

This thing is a beast.

Have not had the time to work on my Executioners until lately.

Was pugging with my Warhawk in one game and noticed that an Executioner got 4 kills and I only got two.

So I decided to finally give mine a run. Man it just looks fugly, but despite its looks, it lives up its name --- it executes its victims.

First game I got three kills right off. I must say that despite the low arm point, the narrow profile is also a big geometric advantage. Add the narrowness to the height of its torso hardpoints, the plentitude of hardpoints, this thing is a true dealer of death.

Have only elited them but so far not too impressed. It's not a bad robot as such, but it's definitely not very good for a 95-tonner either. There are occasional good games, but also quite a few games where I just fail to apply serious damage.

Builds: I spread the pods from the -D to make 3 "boosted" builds. Will buy lots of -D pods when released...:
2x LPL (RT), 4x cMPL (RA) (-D RT)
1x gauss (RT), 5x cMPL (RA) (-D RA)
1x gauss (RT), 7x cSPL (spread) (standard pods)
2x cLPL (RT/LT), 1x cAC/20 (LA) (-D LT)

Also tried: 1x gauss (RT), 1x cERPPC/cLPL (LT), 4x cSPL (RA) but didn't really like it.

If we had this during the days of pre Ghost Heat and Pop Tarts, this mech would absolutely become the nightmare metamech.
