It looks good. Only had enough time to master them at lunch though. Can't play em for a few more hours.

I have a EXE-D Variant with 8 Pulse, 3 in each arm and one in each torso.

IT IS THE WUBCUTIONER.

I wish that every energy arms had arm actuators. When you have nothing on his wrists it just looks weird....

- as ugly as expected
- arm weapons painfully low (as expected)
- MASC is awesome not so much for the speed, but for the acceleration. You push it briefly and are almost instantly at max speed or standing still when breaking. With the push of a button, the EXE handles like a TBR

Sounds like it will be fun.

Shadow cat might be a little light on fire power, but with that acceleration boost and JJs? Ought to be a pilot's dream, unless it gets scaled like a Nova.

Crap. Took a look at the actuators in the patch notes. Won't have my full arm movement until August. Oh well.

I have too many clan mechs that I don't bother getting up to elite/master. I really just like my IS mechs more.

Haven't tried mine in combat yet, just the training grounds, obviously its sluggish because nothing is skilled up.

Initial impression is that its a heavier gargoyle with JJ's and Masc

Do you really need full arm movement?
I have almost all mechs only with 1 lower actuator.
It's like 1 gives you 95% arm aiming anyway and the second additional 5%.

Also, is this really enough to call a whole mech "crap"?

That's pretty much what I was afraid of.

I wasn't calling the mech crap. I was looking forward to the free arm movement the one variant with lasers in both arms might provide, and when I found out it wasn't so. I exclaimed, "Crap." I just have to wait until August to get it now. And yes, I really need the full arm movement. I simply don't care for mechs that don't have it.

Isn't 1 just half?

No where near 90%.
