I'm enjoying the usual tinkering with new mechs now that the Exe and Jag have been delivered.
However, I'm very curious about everyone's thoughts on the changes to the Adder and Jenner.
Specifically, the Adder can now remove the CT Flamer, freeing up an energy hardpoint and a half a ton. That allows for builds like 5xMPL/ERML, or 2xLPL, 3xERSL. I've been toying around with them and find the Adder is MUCH better off now that it has 5 available hardpoints. It now has a reason to come out instead of the more versatile Kitfox.
I've seen a couple players bring out their old Jenners as well, and seem to be surviving longer. I haven't had a chance to test this yet.
Discuss.

I'm not willing the strip the armor required to squeeze out another ton for my double peeps build, but I'll be making good use of that hardpoint for the 5x ER medium laser and Gauss/UAC20 + ER small laser builds.
I haven't touched my Jenners in a long time, so it'll be nice to break them out again. I'm more curious about exactly how they've been tweaked to be more survivable i.e. someone make some hitbox diagrams!

5xERML ... awesome!
With quirks and DHS, I can shoot almost continously even on caustic valley.
PLUS a TC3

I was running some Ebon Jags through the testing grounds and I immediately noticed the difference in how the Jenner takes damage. It looks like they've extended the sidetorso hitboxes out into the sides of the nose so it should now spread damage better while torso twisting, but it will probably get sidecored more often too.

The Adder is incredible now. I've been running 2xLPL, 2xML and 1xSL, and just running over to assault mechs and delivering 45 pinpoint damage to their CT. They don't always react the first time. But they sure start torso twisting like crazy after the second time
And yeah, the ability to fire over obstacles and edges is nice when you don't have jump jets or speed.

OMG... My Badder got much gooder...

I've been consistently getting between 500-700 damage and 5-7 kills tonight with it... It's... I.. I just... I can't... I can't even stop it anymore... I haven't even touched my Ebon Jags or Sexecutioners yet...

Adder seems a bit better. Lets me slot in another ER SL on my LB20 build. Not sure if removing another half ton of armor for a heatsink on the PPC build is worth it or not yet.
Played about ten games in my Jenners, didn't really notice a ton of difference. Every single death I had was still to being cored right through the CT.
