Mine...
ENF-4R

I like the ones that don't need much(if any) heat management.

ENF-4R

This is a heat-efficient, jumping, fully armored, new player friendly mech. It's the Victor 9Ks' smaller brother.
All slots have been used, needed upgrades are there and it takes advantage of most of the mechs' quirks.

Endo-Steel structure
Double heatsinks

Free slots: 0
Engine: XL 225
Speed: 72.9 / 80.2
Heatsinks: 13
Jump Jets: 4

1x AC 10 with 3 tons of ammo
3x Medium Pulse Lasers

K.I.S.S and new players will have fun!

This is my personal favourite build minus a medium laser and added in an extra heatsink. This build makes for a good mid range sniper/fire support build and has the speed and ability to get out of sticky situations. It also teaches newbies how to use gauss rifles and aim with ballistics.

This is how I play mine

ENF-4R

It's what I use to solid effect, warm enough to teach heat management, cool enough not to be frustrating. Just could not let the high mounted energy hardpoint go to waste and it has proven very valuable more than on many occasions.

This is my current Loadout for the ENF-4R using the given Quirks effectively:

Maybe some other guy posted a similar build with the same Weapon Config. A JJ more or less, Armor Ratios different, but the crucial equipment, what the paying player should get is the very commonly used XL255 and the maximum usage of the quirks. Too bad this Mech has Quirks for heavy weapons, which limits the tonnage for additional nice stuff like more Heatsinks or JJs. Anyway, this is the Loadout, which i have most fun with in this Mech.

I vote for the single AC10 with 5 Med Lasers !
Great build.

As someone who has, across 30 matches or so, used both the AC/10 and Gauss variants of the builds everyone is posting here, I can say with confidence that the gauss build with jump jets is a lot easier to use than the AC/10 build (though you almost never see AC/10 mechs, so a champion would be cool). As this is a champion mech, meaning it's designed for either people who are grinding GXP or new players, the gauss build seems to be a better fit. It also feels like too many of the medium champions are close-range brawler types, so a gauss sniper would stand out better. As for the 3 large laser build, the wolverine champion is almost identical and has more quirks for it.

I upgraded the engine to XL255 and stripped 2 JJ for another DHS. I feel 4 JJ are a bit overkill for a Champion mech, as the extra jump range is not as helpful as some additional cooling for beginners. I do run 4 JJ sometimes myself but feel that is a more advanced build.

I prefer to keep the rear armor relatively low on the Champion build, as nobody should be getting consistently attacked from behind in a decently fast medium with JJ.

Yeah, the JJs are more open to interpretation. I tend to use all four, so that's why I went with them. The rear armor I kept higher because these are beginners who will likely get flanked. It may be their saving grace.

This Enforcer build retains mobility, can make advantage from its quirks, can run cool...and also invites modification. Also it totes enough ammo to last through several encounters whilst also teaching the merits of conservation. Furthermore, its weapons versatility lends itself to a 4-button mouse (I keep the Weapons Cursor column set selecting Group 4 so I can toggle chain fire quickly); yet, it is not so extreme that it becomes silly.

I changed things around a few times since taking up the task of building a potential Champion design, but I finally went with this design because of the general versatility of range it offers, along with improved armor and mobility.....and of course the AC 10! These are good things for a Trial 'Mech player looking for a true contender in-game, with a bit of requisite discipline adding some challenge to the experience. Even a totally new pilot should get something out of having this variety available on a single platform. The XL engine adds some vulnerability, but I believe that it's worth it...
No matter what, I am enthused to see this variant up for Champion eligibility. This is an excellent 'Mech, and, once purchased, would prove to be modifiable and versatile. And the quirks are sweet. *rolls eyes relishingly*

My humble little entry, which only seeks to enhance the original intent of the build with a more efficient loadout.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...bb66294cd7e50ca

Its tough, has enough ammo to carry it through the fight, and is fast enough. Generally working as a part of a group, rather than lone-wolfing it. Good at not drawing immediate attention, which is a plus for a 50-tonner.

Couple it with a good Centurion pilot, and you've got a recipe for mayhem.

3 LA Large Lasers, 1 LT Medium Laser, 1 Jumpjet, Standard 250 engine + 4 DHS, Endo and Ferro.

Left side poker with jump capability to enhance movement over small obstacles, good heat efficiency/beam duration quirks lend itself to pokey play, and refire rate of large lasers means the DPS is pretty decent.

1x AC10, 4x ML, 4x JJ, DHS, ENDO, FERRO, STD235. max armor, 3 tons of ammo

Something balanced and a bit tougher due to the STD engine. Plays like a flying centurion, with a bit more energy.

Well, it's just a very simple build with sacrificing speed for durability. After all, (C) 'mechs are meant to be played by novices. Those who will own it, will reconstruct it anyway.
