The newest addition MASC, left alt key? only 1 mech? I feel so sorry for new players, I mean granted some will get it but anymore I think most will not. If I could wipe your mind of all experience you have in this game and drop you with a full deck how would you do?

I really wonder what would have happened today if MASC was just added to everyone's modules? My hands are already cramped from the keyboard carpel tunnel edition of the game, why not add one more.

This iteration of MechWarrior has become a giant robot prostitution, PGI is the pimp and I have been playing less and less, it's becoming a $spam machine. The game is not becoming boring Russ, it already is. You have your Elites and I'm sure they are all furry and happy and then you have the rest of us. We are not happy with it Russ, you can twitter, you can have focus groups, you can elect player counsels that are corrupt from the voting process. But so far Russ, what you can not do is make MechWarriors happy.

And we all want happy MechWarriors. PM me Russ, I will be happy to have a focus group with you, in fact I know hundreds of MechWarriors that would, but not in town halls. Those are lame and run by forum warriors. Unless you want forum warriors to pay your bills.

I am THE ForumWarrior, Never been to a townhall, don't have Russ on speed dial... You MUST be confused...

Steam is where games go to die, its where they suck out the last bit of revenue they can get before they close the doors, is there anyone here that would compare COD and MWO and then say that they are equal.

LOL - so many "mechwarriors" scared of STEAM. It's just another way to get the game. I was a founder for this game because I loved Battle Tech, City Tech and Aero Tech. It's not great, needs work, but it's pretty cool - and there is no second option. I also have a stack of games on STEAM. Play solo strategies, some FPS and any half decent Indie games that look a bit interesting.

I don't disagree that your 'COD-type, squashed bug-attention span' players will make an unwelcome addition to any long term player base, but they won't BE long term players. They'll inject some cash, cause some teams to groan a little now and then and then get distracted by belly button fluff for a bit before a new shiny game with bright flashes causes them to click on it.

All the other STEAM players would make a welcome addition to the game especially since we definitely have some of the sooky-la-la "your laser grazed me" whiny b*tches currently thinking they own MWO, and I know all the stats - and we lost because you didn't do exactly as I said - even though I only said it after everyone left me by myself.....etc.....

I guess the summary of all this is people suck - oh and this game does get boring, the OP's not wrong about that. I can live with it though as it has to get better the longer it goes on.

Pretty much anything you do over and over again with little to no change will get boring and routine.

If you're having trouble reaching/finding keys on your keyboard and want a few more (read: a s*** ton) of buttons on your mouse, then this is what you need:

I wonder how professional soccer players can love doing it for a living. Maybe, cause they enjoy what they are doing over and over again with the only major change being the gradual improvement of the game over time.

What the hell do you want?

No I am really asking because I only see trolling and nothing to back it up. You say "its bad" but never say WHAT is bad. You say you are bored from your 3 cents. Well if you are here so long, how about get one of the other mechs?

Really cant understand you. For me just a troll.

I don't know... those game designers need to get busy... they only have one map and it plays the same every time.

I'm not thinking this game is very complicated if you give it a little time to soak in. But then, I played EVE Online for many years. Not sure adding one new function is overkill.

MWO can be a complicated game, but I liken it to walking. You had to learn to walk, you weren't born able to do it. But you learned how to move your legs, how to crawl, how to balance on two legs, and so on. And it was an effort. It probably took you almost a year, maybe as much as a year and a half, to actually walk, and you were clumsy at first. Now? You don't even think about it, you just do it.

Um...so I'm thinking : Buckets of money, drooling female "fans", a (possible) over fondness for butt grabs and pulling your shirt over your head - oh and a huge ego. An apptitude unsuited for anything other than kicking and running would also come in handy. Hell, give me the first two for signing up to MWO for the next 15 years and I'm on ;)

Trust me if they are doing it for a living they don't love it. Cause there is more to it than running around on the field kicking a ball. Trust me its a job to them.

The OP has very cleverly hid the REAL complaint the OP has in the totally convoluted writing style employed in the OP and further posts by the OP.

The OP has run out of money and is very upset because they couldn't afford the Clan Wave III package, therefore, the game sucks.

Seriously, look at the posts, that's what it breaks down to, the OP can't afford to play a F2P game anymore due to the costs, and the Clan Wave III package is the cause.

Personally, I'm left scratching my head(damnit, did the grandkids give me lice or the dog give me fleas or do I need a new shampoo?) wondering WTBF the OP expects Russ or anyone else to do about the fact that they can't afford the money to play a F2P game that requires literally $0(or whatever money type you have in your country, pound/euro/yen/goat) to play the game and obtain almost everything in the game except for a few special Mechs that give a cbill boost when used, and not a SINGLE thing you need to do well in this game requires the expenditure of any real world monies.

What, are we supposed to take up a collection for you or something? You expect Russ will feel sorry for you and GIVE you stuff for free?

As far as I'm concerned, take a hike already, wasted enough time figuring out you just want stuff for free because you can't be bothered to state it up front and clearly and instead make all sorts of OTHER bs statements that mean jack and dismiss everyone who even tries to address those so called 'concerns' with outright hostility. Door's over there surat, I could care less if it hits you in the ass on the way out either.

....wait one more key makes it unplayable for you?

Go try an MMO that doesn't use a GCD system.
Jesus.

Try 36 different powers and abilities to manage at once, in addition to positioning, maintaining situational awareness, throwing heals, buffs, debuffs, boosting your dmg etc... jesus.

No wonder the little kiddie gamers suck.
Can we please stop trying to cater to the SubNormals that play these games?

One button..christ.

Truth.

Whats additionally sad is since they cannot effectively code their own game, a lot of features and/or changes that they would want to make, simply arent even possible at this point. Thats F'ed up.

A lot of us have been playing since mw2 or before. It's second-nature for us.

For my friends it's overwhelming. Also they don't know who the clans are. Or what the inner sphere is. They know nothing.

I like the game being a sim. But I also wish for the battletech brand to get new fans and a new game 10 years from now. Tutorials (good ones) are a necessity. We need more players, including kids, so someone in the future will want to make more mechwarrior.

The game is too easy ... please make it harder. The addition of MASC is a good thing. Id like to see some "mini-games" added to make the game more simulator like. Having to reroute power systems as your mech takes more damage. Dealing with ammo bay fires by ejecting ammo instead of just blowing up the mech. A coolant system allowing greater or lesser cooling to individual weapons. Having to reroute and cut off portions of the cooling system so that you dont leak out.

People who have better skill and arent task saturated should have a greater influence on keeping their mech up and running than we have currently.
