Want to help your local Mechwarrior radio station? Record yourself saying "You're Listening to HyperPulse Radio on No Guts, No Galaxy".

Send them in .wave, .mp3, or .ogg to hyperpulseradio@gmail.com and I'll turn them into a jingle and broadcast them.

Here is an example: http://chirb.it/aqxH3d

Other Variants are acceptable, such as:

"This is No Guts No Galaxy Radio"

"Welcome to NGNG Radio"

Etc

Can I flip that around? I think it sounds better as "No Guts, No Galaxy on Hyperpulse Radio".

NGNG being the show, HR being the parent company.

Make sense?

heheh, actually, they were two completely separate projects that were merged. There really isn't a "parent company." But HPR is nested in NGNG now. Though some people are calling it NGNG Radio, so I think there is going to be some confusion building.

I'm fine with it being called NGNG radio, or HyperPulse Radio, Or HyperGutsPulseGalaxy Radio. All the host naming is HyperPulse Radio though ^_^

Gotcha. It's not like it's a big deal, just sounded like it flowed better.

S3dition,

Really great work you are doing here, I really enjoy it. Musics great, I can't wait to see what this is going to turn into! Any chance you could hit up people to record the news flashes and broadcast them as jingles throughout the day?

Regards,

Hanyit Greyhame

Thank you!

Was actually planning that from the start :). I'm just now to the point where I can schedule those in, and opened up a thread for it: http://mwomercs.com/...eds-your-voice/
We'll be accepting contributions for the foreseeable future.

The first commercial is now edited and added to the first post. Thanks Atlas3060!

I'm going to start building more official schedules now, so the music won't be quite so static and sound more like an official, unofficial radio station.

Thanks for listening!

Sorry for the sudden drop in audio quality. I re-encoded a bunch of music in .ogg format, but accidentally set it to 44.1Kbps instead of 128. That makes a HUGE difference.

I also started building the program schedules. You can see what I have so far in the top of the first post.

Alright, all the current radio shows have been listed. I also added a poll for Freebirth radio:

Freebirth Radio - Every week (on Monday) the community gets to decide which 3 genres will be featured. Each genre gets 1 hour of air time, for a total of 3 hours of your favorite type of music!

Note that these programs are bound to change in the future!

I have got to say I really like this radio show. For the most part, their perspectives agree with my own.

...The music's not bad either. The volume could use some tweaking though. Some songs will be comparatively louder than others.

I have created a crapload of 8bit renditions of popular songs... here is an example you are free to use on your station...
8Bit Uprising :
http://www.sfcmusic.com/music/8Bit_Uprising_drums_160.mp3

I should add that I made these and have UPC codes if needed for legal reasons. Further this is not my final version of this song and is intended as a sample.

Here is a snip of the final version
