Better appearance is nice but I hope they also give players a reason to chose the K2 appart from nostalgia.

Since the arms are such targets on K2s, not really an issue.

I dont twitter(maybe I should start)
Could you drop a line to Russ, so long as he is maybe looking at Catapults, if he could do a little to the Catapult, of what he did with the Jenner?
If the Cat. could use the ST armor a bit better, IMO it would be enough to maybe even move it up a tier. Even if not, it might at least get people to stop saying the Cat. is a fragile mech.
Just don't see as many on the field anymore, and I miss that, it's an iconic mech like the Atlas to the mechwarrior games.

Be very, very careful what you wish for. The small size of the side torso boxes is what makes this 'Mech XL-friendly, and being XL-friendly is about all it has going for it. It's what lets it carry any sort of potent payload at speed. Bear in mind, a Timberwolf would be bottom-tier if it were equipped with an Inner Sphere XL. An XL-equipped Stalker is also garbage, but a Stalker doesn't need an XL to bring a devastating payload because it can't move with great speed.
I'm really not convinced that the Catapult is as bad as people are making it out to be. If the EBJ is so far considered pretty good, there's very little that makes it better than the Jester outside of Clan lasers simply having more range and damage.

I think I still run the most 'odd' K2 around.
1 Ac20
1 ErPPc
3 ML
I like its versatility.
Having some different visuals on her might be kinda neat.
I had ran that K2 for a LONG time. Called it the Snaggle Tooth. It was an interesting build that was very fun and versatile.
Post PPC quirks, I run a more pedestrian 2 PPC and 2 A/C5 build. If it wasn't for the PPC quirks, I might have still been running the Snaggle.
Good to hear the PPC barrels will be getting looked at. I'm hoping the A1 arms may follow suite too.
Lastly, maybe a CT hitbox adjustment like the Jenner got....maybe...maybe .

you know that most, if not all PPC quirked mechs apply those same quirks to ERPPCs, too, right?

I've heard that, but when I tested the Vindicator 1AA, I wasn't too sure I saw a big difference. All I knew was that it ran too hot.
Maybe Snaggle Tooth could benefit because it runs only 1 PPC to begin with, but my K2 with 2 ERPPCs and 2 A/C5s would be far too hot I think.
Maybe I'll look into it more, but it seems like firing 2 ERPPCs in anything under an Assault is always too hot. I know I don't have to fire them together, but I also have to ask myself, what is worse? 90m min range and a bit less max range, or more shots before overheating.
