I bought Black Jack 3 for like 4 mil + and the sell back price is like 600k, 15% that's crazy! It's like the game is laughing at me saying "Hahaha you paid for this mech and it's practically worthless sucker!" Really harsh for new players that don't realize this stuff because mech bays are limited, C-Bills are so hard to come by, no way to test drive mechs (other than the trials mechs) should be able to get back at least something like 60%, man this game is expensive.

Hi

The sell price is only the raw chassis price. It does not include the engine, weaponry etc that came when you bought the mech initially. If you sell all those equipment as well, you will recover up to 50% of the purchase price. Not the best deal, but it is an already known fact. So the onus is for us to try out the mech using available trial versions, visit forums, like metamechs.com and smurfy to better understand the mech, before one invests one’s hard earned cbills.

Another way to await cbill sales. Those bring purchase prices all the way down to 65% of the normal price. This means that your potential loss is not more than 15%. Great opportunity to stock up on XL engines as the price of a mech with an XL engine during a sale may be even cheaper than purchasing the XL engine alone.

However, all your investments such as Artemis, Endo, FF will be lost and unrecoverable.
