so i didnt buy any mechpacks, some of them cost more than my entire annual games budget. i did buy stuff though, mc packages here and there when i had a few bucks left over after bills. looking at my purchase history i have spent around $70 on mc which when put together is more than i would spend on an arena shooter (let alone a minimally viable one).

any chance on a badge that shows i did my part in funding the game. i hate being called a freeloader by some whale with all the badges. it doesn't have to be fancy it can be the most boring badge in the game. in fact mc purchasers seem to have gotten the shaft as far as loyalty rewards go as well. It would be nice if there was a little customer appreciation for the little people.

You get mocked by people whether you spend money or whether you don't spend money, so I don't see how it matters much. If you really want your goyim badge then just buy a $30 pack and then lord it over all the filthy freeloader plebs because you're clearly superior to them at that point.

People bragging/gloating about accumulating badges-of-shame are probably turbodouches anyways.

I say this as somebody who has a large collection of such badges...

I guess a generic financial supporter badge would be alright to have. Maybe call it the "Patron" badge or whatever. The logo would probably be like the MC logo to keep it simple.

There's a reason that I don't display any badge at all.

Edit: ... and Monkey Lover sniped my reason! LOL

I don't understand why people get hung up on stupid badges if anything people should be embarrassed a out dumping lot of money into this game its basically the robot version of warz. Textbook minimum viable product with very overpriced cashgrabs. I hide my badges for this reason and because I was foolish enough to believe they could turn this mess into a decent game.

Yes, when I want someone to do something for me, I always insult them first and talk about their minimally viable product

It's the classic, "you get what you paid for".

I wear my badge to show my prominent faction choice and that's all(i own and play claners too). I emailed the staff when i found out i wasnt able to use the Talon badge because it looked 100 million times better than the red star and they"couldnt", me and my crazy impossible demand that would require some ancient and dead programing god. Sure give a basic supporter badge if people want them, why not. I mean who cares really.

What op is talking about is the equivalent of a feel good participation trophy
Anyway, it's a dumb idea, being so involved with what people on the internet think that you feel the need to prove you spent money.

I've spent way too much money in this game, but I don't feel the need to **** on people who haven't spent as much.

PGI never did use the Wave 3 badges I made for them. :(

Maybe you can use one of these?
