Now ,knowing meta builds are great and the best builds out there. If one of these mechs is chosen for a champion/ trail mech, shouldn't it give a new player a good look ALL of the weapon categories that are available? When they are ready to purchase their own mechs then they can say "I liked the laser aspect of the mech , I wonder if it would be good with a more energy focused build , hence the incentive to buy a timber wolf and tailor it to their OWN play style or preferred type of weaponry on the mech.
No, it's better to give a new player that experience by having them play different champion mechs, not by cramming every playstyle into one champion mech. Teach them what a good build is before letting them experiment. Focusing on a specific playstyle is more fun, effective, and smart.

P.S. I think METAs lead to degradation of people in this game, they become utterly useless piloting anything else. Not even talking about how that it kills the Battletech experience - might as well replace arrays of weaponry with a single gun and remove customization and loadouts.

It's the complete opposite. In almost every pvp game out there it is just far smarter to focus on a playstyle rather than running around like a headless chicken trying to do everything. You never learn to get good at anything if all you play are all-rounders.
Also about your build, if you have two different types of lasers in the arms, you should always put the same types of lasers in the same arm. Having 1 ERLL in each arm and 1 ERML in each arm is just silly compared to 2 ERLL in one arm and 2 ERML in the other. Splitting them removes your ability to poke effectively and you're more likely to waste your shots into cover.
