Hi,
I think it would be very nice to get a mech, which was piloted by a VIP, like Aidan Pryde or Phelan Kell according to the original books.
Dont know if this is only my opinion or other pilots agree.

Assault Brawler support build
Played with this build and it performed very well.
In the champion build I would like to see 1 extra Heat sink added.
In the hands of a Team player this thing rocks.

TBR-PRIME

Long range PPC...

Medium range UAC/10

Short range 5x ERML

TC1, 18 heat sinks, as much Armor as can be carried (maxed?)

Damage output gets more powerful the close the target gets, should survive until all weapons can be brought into play at one point or another against enemies.

Hmm 13 pages already... Not sure if mine will even receive any votes.... but here's my current Timby Build

Timberwolf Prime

Definitely not 'meta', and runs a bit hot, but its served me well.

2x LPL
3x ERML
2x MG
2x LRM10's

Umm i don't think the competition rules are fair. The first page gates all the votes ..

I personally have used and still use the following timber wolf build thats almost exactly Battletech Configuration-D of timber wolf.
In other words 2xER PPC, 2xML, 4xSRM6, 4xJJ (the original has 4xSSRM6 and no MLs with 1xSML and no jump jets)

TBR-PRIME

My sniper builds also alwyas have both PPC in the same arm to maximize chance to get double hit on the same component.
But really the build is a slight adaption of Config-D of timber wolf and the even better the nerf to timber wolf doesn't affect this version (energy cool of on PPC makes no difference).

This is an all around machine that uses weapons by range category.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...33947e190eeeb0d

3x mg, 4x ml, 1x erll, 2x lrm10, 2x srm6, targeting comp1, clan active prove, 4x jump jets. 2 tonnes lrm ammo 2 tonnes srm ammo 1.5 tonnes mg ammo.

Maybe drop 1 or 2 jumpjets for more armor or ammo.

I believe this would make an amazing hero mech.

cheers!

Well I see that the timbers are lacking a good brawling build. This for me is my favorite. High damage and very good heat control.

2 ER-Large Laser
2 ER-Med Laser
2 LRM 15
2 Machine Gun

Good punch, mixed range, overheating is possible, but gives you a good feel for the mech.

My main TBR build. i do extremely well with this build, enough firepower to rip off armor and enough high crit weapons to quickly finish a mech off. i normally get 3-5 kills with this build, and 400-750 damage per map.

Its a bit on the hot end when getting into a serious brawl, but proper heat management skills can handle it nicely. Plus 4 MGs is decent amount of damage to finish something off whilst cooling down.

Mid/short brawler w/multiple means to keep those streaks viable, jump jets to keep you mobile and a nice laser alpha with potential reasonable range... all rolled into one.

Meh...rookie indeed. Don't understand why my link won't work, but here it is spelled out:

TBR-D with S left and right torso, Prime right arm, C left arm. Yeah, it's a mad science project turned sexy beast.

4x streak srm-6 with 4 total tons of streak ammo
5x er medium lasers
1x tracking comp 1
1x tag
1x clan active probe
4x jump jets (per the S torso L and R)

442/462 armor
