EBJ tanks very well and is more mobile then a TBR as it has a medium movement archetype, plus all those weapons are higher mounted then a TBR.

With all of the fantastic build for the Ebon why go laser vomit. Have fun with it this mech does well with mixed loadouts.

I think that the size and shape of lazer nerfs the ebj will see is related to how it's played. If every single build for it is just a variation on a theme like the timber was then yep it'll get hammered. If there are a wider selection of builds available for it then a) nerfing 1 weapon type wont matter as much, which leads to what would be the point if it wouldn't hurt it's effectiveness.

As a matter of fact, the Awesome used to have it (before the mainstream Quirkening); it had an additional 10% cooling, 25% total.

No mech currently has it, but when I talked to someone in regards to the Poordubs, they said they'll mention it to someone.
We'll see if anything comes from it.

Because it is the most efficient when you factor in the random map selection.

I remember that now but it was more to appease the "Awesome" Pilots of the day, who really just needed/wanted to add more DHS's, but just had no where to put them. Damn those Hand Actuators.

Or the MLX! He can poptart with the best of them...just is a lot of work with one ERPPC.
