Victim. As in another Victim of PGI. It is an Assault that gets less free space than an Heavy while weighing 30 tons more and is just a copy of a slow Gargoyle with JJ and MASC.

Yet another disappointment.

executioners are bad warriors after all, they are only good vs helpless victims, so the name suits it well

FFS people, you knew this when they announced the mech. There were discussions and statistics about it's tonnage, speed, free space for weapons, possible variants, etc...

You have zero freaking excuse complaining about the stuff that was revealed or disseminated prior to Wave3 pre-orders being opened.

Complaining about torso-twist, hard point height/location, JJs still being crap, or MASC implementation are all valid. Enough with the whining about tonnage like you weren't told months ago.

Sincerely a Wave3 Executioner package owner.

I saw the jump from Ebon Jaguar to Executioner in the Wave 3 pack as essentially $30 for 30 days premium time + 3 crappy assault mechs, so i figured, why not?

I can have an opinion all I want, just like you can. My Opinion is that it is a disappointment. If we never state what we think is wrong with a MECH, it will never get addressed. And I am not going to sit here and act like I am happy with it when I am not. Is it a bad mech? NO, but In MY Opinion, an Assault Mech with less free space than a heavy is just one of the issues.

I too love the Gargoyle. So I was very excited about the Executioner. My only sources of complaint for the EXE are the troublesome CT and the 70 degree twist range. One of those things should be fixed today.

3 of the energy points are up high, really. Also, I find it odd to complain about something like free space when we've known how much it would have for months.

We have had MONTHS to evaluate these mechs for their pod space, weapon capabilities, all their pros an cons etc. Even still people wil drop exorbinate amounts of money an ***** when it doesnt perform like a dire wolf.

Im not saying people should be happy, if they're disappointed. What I am saying is you should put more thought and reason into your purchases. I knew wave 2 was **** from the get go, besides the Loki. That's why I waited till they were out for cbills. You can't buy a Volkswagen and complain it doesnt perform like a corvette.

Having an opinion is a basic human right, but you also have to deal with the consequences if your opinion sound childish. I'm sorry your disappointed, but complaining on the forums gets you no where. Ask for a refund, tweet rus, and move on. Be more diligent with future purchases?

Thus far, as others have stated the big issues are the torso twist and humongous CT. Otherwise it seems solid as a relatively mobile assault. Loadouts are limited due to pod space, but I imagine with a bit more durability, in the proper hands (not mine...) this thing could be a beast.

You did not state what you think was wrong with it, You whined about how its has no Pod space which i dont get because it can do everything a TBR can do other then missiles. It can run 3 or 4 LPL, which is nothing other then the WHK can do. Also PGI didn't decide the tonnage and free space the lore did and they ran with it from there.

You realize all these complaints are nothing you didn't know MONTHS ago....

Because he thinks if it cant fit dual gauss and two erppcs or 700 uac 5's that its a bad assault mech, just shows me how little any of you know about this game outside meta builds and someone doing work for you. There are MANY builds for it Gauss and LAser vomit, Gauss and ERPPC with lasers, 3 LPL with SRM's, 13 Sm Pulse lasers...the list goes on.

I tore it up last night with 3 lpl and srms or my Gargoyle carry over build of 1 u-a/c 20 with 5 er meds (smalls on the GAR) with a TC....that thing RIPPED last night. I put up 700 dmg games like it was going out of style.

I think the moral of the story is the original poster is just not a good mech pilot for the executioner yet. #nextthread
