Yes. But let's not rock the boat. People are getting stuff done lately. Stuff we've been screaming for on the forums for ages. And whatever we may think of that, let's be pragmatic and just think about how we can keep the ball rolling.

This isn't directed at you personally, just everyone reading. Please don't spam Twitter with passive aggressive tweets about how he doesn't post on the forum anymore. That ship has sailed.

Too many nautical metaphores in this post.

lol so you asked about 2 inconsequential issues (the atlas is fine, btw)

he's not gonna answer ever single peasant's nitpick and personal little opinion issue

The HGN is one of my favs, would be nice for it to get some of that sweet jumpiness back.

All other classes of JJs are fine, IMO

Before you spew your B.S. on me have some read (i didnt do it for myself, but for new players. Except the red eyes).

Russ tried to keep up on the forums since September 2014. Which he was not bad at it, but there was alot of toxic behaviour left after IGP unchained. I don't blame him for being on Twitter again but atleast keep your website and forums updated.

Again, i don't ask much. But his Twitter is a clear example of promotional usage. I asked a simple question. Two questions he didnt answer. 10 hours later. Recieved follow up? No answer, but he did tweet other cool stompy robots and income related stuff. Yeah, that matters. Because money. And that's more relevant then a random customer who just ask a simple question. But i had a background with him on these questions.

Fact is that i have been in talking to him around the same time in September about bringing the glowing eyes back of the Atlas. (Hence the popularity on the poll in Features) He replied pretty positive via P.M. and added everything on the list again. It should be a easy thing to do he said.

http://mwomercs.com/...leable-feature/

Fine.

I asked him in timespan between each month about the status. He kept saying he would add it back on the list. Okay i guess.
Untill he stopped about replying back around January. Last contact was around March this year. Since then the forums is on low comms again. Understandable but highly annoying. I don't ask something out of the cloud when i have no background with it. He should have known where i was talking about when he saw my name and the subjects on Twitter.

I tried, but i gave up when he retweeted some other B.S. around without adressing my question.

There you go. Form your opinion again, muppet. :)

That's what I was thinking. Keep it as slow but....

So the people's opinion is divided as always (see my post above). Well, I hope what we get (if we got it) is the best for all.

EDIT: sorry, my post is on that other JJ thread. There are so many today....

hoping he is serious, sounds like a joke though if he said "till i get another tweet" which he probably gets one a second so potentially in one and out the other in an instant

well, he did get deluged after the K2 tweet.

How many corporate CEOs and presidents directly reply to each and every question asked by random customers? Just because they replied a few times does not mean they will reply every time.

forming.. forming

yep still the same

if I was Russ, I wouldn't answer every question either. There is only so much you can pick and choose from, so people get missed /ignored

Atlas' red eyes and toughness aren't exactly pressing issues. Of course though you should be catered to on every whim and request by the CEO of a company who owes you nothing

more fallout from the participation trophy generation far as I can see

lol, muppet

What's wrong with saying:

"Sorry, red eyes not gonna happen anytime soon, just don't have the time to do it currently"

All Sarlic is asking for is a little communication.

As for what 'pressing issues' are, they differ from person to person. Just because you don't care about it, doesn't mean others don't. For some people, the Atlas is the only reason they play the game.

Shrug. It's an emotional reaction more than anything. People get sick of being stonewalled.

The 'say nothing' approach to community management is frustrating as hell.

Thus... eliminating the use of Twitter which is designed for.

There's a difference being informative on updated websites and forums then bound on Twitter with a max. char of 140..

Did everyone forget how Russ and or NGNG just liked to morph any hard questions to their own?

Or that they will NEVER reply like some had stated...

I use Twitter to talk to Russ and Paul, both get back to me sometimes, sometimes they do not. I am the same way so i how can i blame them?

Sometimes i give a call back...sometimes i dont. If its that important i will hear about it or you will call/text/tweet again im sure.

Everyones feelings are way to tender on twitter, if Russ doesn't answer you twitter sucks, for *******, Russ is lame....the whine just gets stronger. If he DOES answer you and its not what you wanted to hear, or isnt in a timely manner The whine get stronger and louder ONCE AGAIN!

I see why he ignores most of the community they are trolls, give ultimatums, threaten with silly things like "i wont pay a dime" or "Im gonna quit". When that's the attitude you go into conversations with there is little to no point in dealing with that person, Their mind is already made up before they even walked into your store.

That happens all over....ever read a news article and then see the journalist notes? They find ways to make things they want scandalous and things they dont want they sweep under the rug.

So you have never tried to dodge a questions because you didn't have the answer or didn't have time to get into it?

Now I truly, truly try not to apply an undue amount of negativity or cynicism towards what is said and done about MWO's development, but despite that I do question the fact that the guy takes advice and suggestions from tweets....from tweets for god's sake.... It gives me doubts.... I just can't believe that some of the devs cater to the rapid thought expulsion chamber of twitter as opposed to this one which is at least slightly better and more involved.

Oh well, I'm sure he opened up the game checked to see that JJ's were still there and was like, "Yup, I looked at em."

Meanwhile we've already got people theory crafting here in the realm of exiled communication on what they should change about JJ's in a most technical and in depth way....hilarious.

Yes.

And he's heard about it before, and addressed my question in the last townhall saying "Maybe it is time to look at assault jump jets..."

Well to be fair, having just release a mech with 8 ton's of Class 1 JJ's to it and still unable to jump over buildings slightly taller then itself probably influenced it a bit as well. Since I'm sure they are getting feedback as to how the EXE still can't jump well despite all the JJ's it has strapped on.

Class 1's need to be brought in line with the others, not just for the Highlander, but now more so for the EXE, since the thing has the JJ's hard locked to the frame.

The incentive to also attach more then 1-2 JJ's also needs a re-look. Its silly how the JJ's provide average height diminishing returns and less heat efficiency the more you strap on. (some mechs not by choice.)
