BTW, I realized that my post could sound negative but it's not my intent. I was just curious because that Russ post is not a reply and I just wanted to know why he suddenly posted that tweet.

2) On to my personal opinion, aesthetically I might prefer the first image slightly since the weapons are a bit bigger and don't look as obviously strapped onto the cross bar. However, that said, I can see both versions as decent interpretations and if the latter is easier to scale using a common model for the weapon so that mechs can properly show which weapons are equipped then I don't really have many issues with it. I'd rather pick the battles I would argue with PGI about ... mostly on game balance and design decisions that have a bigger impact on my game play than the specific details of mech appearance. (other opinions may differ of course ).
