So personal gain is more important to the team as a whole for these PUGtards.

We, as gamers, are getting old. I think a lot of players these days do not have nearly as much time to play as they would like, so they want to make the most of the time they have. If getting stomped is not fun and doesn't help them unwind, well, that's probably more important to them than some sort of code of video game honor. And if you ban them for it, fine. They'll play something made by people who value their time and the experience they have.

I could tell you but I would get accused of being a troll

its blatantly obvious whats going on with the game

if they could get everyone to go 64 bit the problems would probably go away

My dream is to have CW gameplay in pug queue. It would be mostly excellent games with out the majority of special people in the community .

Oh lots of issues with cw, i dont quit but here is a short list. Yes premades vs pugs, too much meta enemy side, 10 to 1 score within 10 minutes etc. And no its not all about skill or teamwork. If your team is not bringing their best mechs its game over.

it seems most of the quitters i see are players who dont like who they are matched with/against and quit to avoid throwing a half hour away to a stomp. in some cases the wait times are so long i end up exceeding my time allotment for games and have to quit in the middle of one to do something important. i have seen dcs that are legit, and for some reason the game did not allow that player to reconnect (i usually can get in, only twice, in solo queue, was i unable to rejoin a game).

How about...

(D) They get pitted against a unit-fielded 12-man, they look at their own team composition, find out that it consists of all pugs, & realize that the match is decided against them at the pairing. They're then like, "NOOOOOOPE!!!! $@#% this! I'm out of here!"

Chances are, this is what causes the bulk of the PUG DCs in CW.

This would be it. And I think it's the right thing to do too even if it's against the 'rules'. Why? Because it sends a message. Message that the player who just quit doesn't want to deal with this kind of BS.

It feels like maybe 1 in 10 matches on Inner Sphere side doesnt have between 1 and 3 disconnects although I have not kept any numbers.. Average match is 10 or 11 Inner Sphere vrs 12 Clan this I am sure of.

I am also sure that at least some of the time those disconnects are from the opposing team to get a match quicker and to farm loyalty and creds easier. This is for sure.

The reason I know this for a fact is when 3 disconnected mechs landed on my team and the opposing team didnt get any points for those mechs or mine because I ejected all of mine alot of peeps got very upset. Although they got points for the remaining 8 mechs on my team who didnt even fight back. This is the worste match on the galaxy map I have been in by far to be clear and it was recently and I havnt played any matches lately. At least one of those disconnected mechs was dropping into every match on that planet already disconnected by the way and the rest of it was just as bad.

I should add I didnt eject immediately I ejected after I seen my team being happily farmed and noticed the 3 disconnects and the rest of the scene.

Come to think of it I wonder how many players have quit this game without saying a word if they ran into something like this. I am 100% certain this sort of thing has happened before. There are enough screen shots of fixed matches floating around.

That is why you report those disconnects. Intentionally disconnecting over and over is a pattern of behavior that is against ToS. If you dont want to fight teams ... may I suggest the PUG queue.

I'm sure that many of them have done exactly that, myself included. I'm more keen as to watch this mode rot overnight from lack of population.

If your team is not bringing FOCUS its game over. I've seen people bring meta mechs and fail horribly, because the other side coordinates better. END OF STORY. It's not the MECHS it's your focused firepower. *disclaimer* unless you are a total gimp and bringing 1 lrm 5 with 65tons of ammo, then THAT is on you!
