Using a locust as a 20 ton roadblock behind enemy assaults as they try to run away from incoming friendly missles :D

Back stabbing.
Must be because I'm mainly a light pilot.
But I also try to do it in medium or even heavy when I see that someone doesn't have seismic.

Secretly and silently going at the back, without enemy noticing...and shoot.

I have an orgasm with that....

"I like to open the match with a lot of bravado in public match. Just stupid stuff like "I'll only use half the weapons on my Locust to kill you guys." or "I'm going to take Theta now, so you guys may want to pull back." Some people get it and they exchange some quips, but a lot of people really take it the wrong way. They just stay quiet and if my team loses the match, they come back with straight up insults. But screw it, I like the bravado."

Ummm yeah, ^^^^ this all the way^^^^ Anyone that drops with me, knows me by now, not all the time, but many times I like to keep the enemy guessing and their heads ringing, lol. I like to make them think, "what if".... maybe its coming across in all chat, "Lrm boat guys, I m a pro at this game, lock them up for me!" when I am in my Locust or "You vill fear my Locust!" when I am in Dual AC/20 boom Jager, or any number of different lines to mess with the enemies head before the battle timer ticks down.

I have seen some players rush in and try to find me, and focus me down in their lights, thinking I will be a easy kill.... its really funny, and a lot of fun sometimes. Other times, as you say, some get pissed and throw insults, either way it makes for some interesting matches.

I also find myself from time to time in CW messing with the Clanners or the IS players depending on which I am dropping with. Tell them things like if they surrender now, we won't piss in their cornflakes.... Just trying to keep it real.

The all Dragon dropdeck... ;)

Yah.... I have thought about piloting dragons and getting 4 of them and take them to master for CW drops. Its one of the many mechs that I don't think I have even played yet. One of these days.....

Also, I find Meta Tryhards utterly boring, and have been known to drive "bad" mechs with great relish.

Vindicators, anyone?

Nothing bad about Vindicators... 1AA is fantastic.

My guilty pleasure... Denying kills by overriding and overheating but that I guess I only take it as a pleasure if I can get someone to die with me.

Another one is lrm boating. Catapult 1A and 6 lrm 5 launchers with artemis. It makes me feel dirty if I have a friend with me with narc.

Reporting players who try to tk me on purpose. Only done this once but it felt good.

You know, the little things that are frowned upon by the community, but you do it anways for self-satisfaction.

I'll admit that when the team is chasing down the last enemy, I go in for the kill, even if this results multiple alphas to blow teammate components out of the way.

Well, when I am in a light and find myself the last one standing and I don't feel like killing all of the remaining enemy, I'll just "disappear" never to be found.

I also collect legs from 12-mans in CW. <maniacal   >

Finally, if my team bores me because they choose to just peek and poke, I'll type in all chat "BanzaI!", charge headlong into the enemy, die, and move on to the next game.

Oooooh, I do this, too. You shall not pass, fatties!

I've also been using my Arrow to do this. It's a good way to kill the target and prevent the enemy from being able to help it out.

Wow, you Sir are simply the worst kind of player, and lets be truthful about it, you are the kind of player who doesn't give a crap about friendly fire and usually does more damage to team mates than to the enemy team.

When I leg light mechs, and wait just a few extra moments to just stair at them as they try and limp away. Then when the doom fully sets on, I put a alpha right into their torso.

Guilty pleasure? Every so often I take my Atlas-K for a ride to see if I can develop a loadout that makes it effective.

Hasn't worked yet but it's been occasional fun trying...

Yes, I really do mean an Atlas-K. When did you see one of them last in-game?

last time I shot you? ;)

Found myself doing this a fair bit in my Urbie yesterday. Even had an enemy Hellby pilot allchat "nice charge Bishop" after I nearly took him out on the suicide charge, but alas three heavy mechs worth of friendly fire outweighed on Urbie, lol.

I've seen many enemies suicide charge, quickly die, and then blame their team for their death!

It's gotta be one of my favorite things to watch, their reasoning is so absurd it's hilarious.

....I have no guilt over anything I try.
  • Vindicators.
  • Quickdraws (none of them with PPCs).
  • An Orion and a Jagermech with 4xLRM-5 equipment.
  • Neither of my current Cicada is an ECM variant.
  • My ECM Raven runs LRMs and TAG beside its lasers.
  • My ballistic Wolverine has a Gauss Rifle.
  • My 1N Dragon uses an AC/2, an AC/5, and a pair of SRM-4 with two medium lasers.
  • I enjoy my 1C Dragon more anyways (AC/10 woo!)
  • My only hero is a Jester.
  • My 9S Victor has only machine guns for ballistics.
  • One of my Stalkers has LRMs, SRMs, Medium Lasers, and ERLLs.
  • Brawling Highlander, nuff said.
  • LB10-Xes everywhere (I find them more efficient on a number of machines).
  • BLR-1D Galoot This guy.
  • Everything is Awesomes! (AWS-8Q Barndoor AWS-8V Bacon AWS-9M Troll AWS-8R Thunderous AWS-8T Sorbitol
  • I liked Thunderbolts before they were cool (and I still like them, though I think some of the quirks and super-focused builds are a bit out of line).
  • My first two Cataphracts: CTF-1X Thresher and CTF-2X Hammerfist. I think I'm the only one that does anything like this.
  • Dual-LB-10X CPLT-K2 Ballista! Laser-guided shotgun is so fun.
  • I run an LB-10X Blackjack and an ERLL/ML Blackjack. No PPCs or AC/20s anywhere to be seen. Standard engines only.
  • I have a Firestarter with an AC/2.
  • This magnificent cat. PNT-10P Backhand

Never blamed my team for my death. Be the first to admit, I got bored.

Play this game long enough, and you can usually predict the outcome of a match in the first 2 minutes with 90%+ certainty. I play this game to fight giant stompy robots, not hide behind rocks, afraid to get my electrons scratches because of epeen. This entire weekend, the vast majority of matches I have played has been on teams that just sat and hid. And lost. Just slowly. Once that has been determined, rather go out with a blaze of glory, maybe take one of them with me, and hope the MM Gods give me a team with balls on the next drop.

I do blame must players for being pathetically gutless, on a stupid video game.

I've also seen plenty of killwhores FF their team in the back in their rush to pad epeen..... usually they end up on my Naughty list. You really don't want to be on that list. ;)

That moment when your team commander says hold line at D3 and then you become the only 'Mech in D3...

or when the team packs together in a killbox with limited fire lands, and can't fire effectively back..... or hides and hunkers down in a bad terrain area, NASCARs and leave the assaults behind on Tourmaline, etc.......
