Play this game long enough, and you can usually predict the outcome of a match in the first 2 minutes with 90%+ certainty. I play this game to fight giant stompy robots, not hide behind rocks, afraid to get my electrons scratches because of epeen. This entire weekend, the vast majority of matches I have played has been on teams that just sat and hid. And lost. Just slowly. Once that has been determined, rather go out with a blaze of glory, maybe take one of them with me, and hope the MM Gods give me a team with balls on the next drop.
I do blame must players for being pathetically gutless, on a stupid video game.
THIS.
1k times this ^^
The more aggressive you are, the more you win.
50% of words I hear or say in ts, is "PUSH"
In puglandia, I learned to type it without watching the keyboard.... but with uncertain results...

I don't know if because ppl doesn't want, or they fell unsure (in a videogame.... <insert slapface>), they don't read chat, or cannot read english....

I really don't care if they're meta-friendly.
They're fun as hell.

If you TK me, consistently FF, Just talk too much crap, Cockblock me, etc, you earn your way onto the list.
If you use comms, show common sense, take charge, etc, you also make the list.
What happens from there, I'll leave to your imagination.
Also, I find Meta Tryhards utterly boring, and have been known to drive "bad" mechs with great relish.
Vindicators, anyone?
Aye!
Stock plus best plus.

Run LBX's on everything I can
Run LRM boats of every weight class.
Run MGs on just about anything I can (or better yet, LBX+MG!)
Run Adders as a regular past time.
Run primarily Light Mechs.
Run LBX2's
Keep trying to run and get Flamers to work.
- Also:
Don't do gauss
Don't do AC5/UAC5 (apart from the Dragon, and occasionally the Direwolf - but I prefer the LBX5 for that.

Don't really do AC20's.
Never AC10 (always LBX10).
- Generally just do stupid builds that make my poor team-mates heads hurt.
Recently, a Direwolf with LRM40, 2LPLs, 4MPLs, an ERLL and TAG.
Worked pretty well actually.

I just imagine the rage induced in my victims when they realize they got schooled by a 'lynx!

I run Mgun/Flamer builds on all my light mechs. Urbie has a pair of ERLL, Cute Fox an ERPPC, and LocustPB a pair of SPL as well.
I absolutely love LBXs. My ON1-M has something approaching a reputation with my drop crew. My SCR runs a '20.
Lights aside, almost all of my IS mechs run 3LL, even if it'd be impractical. Even my CDA-3M. PGI gave the Inner Sphere a gift, and I intend to use it.

I feel bad anytime I spend anything above $10 on this game after my first a la carte purchase. Every time I buy into something I am temporarily convinced it is a good idea, and then I always come to regret it later.
Thankfully now after about the 3rd time of it I think I have committed the lesson to full memory now

grrrrr!!!!!!!
I do enjoy LRMs. I feel like when you have a good team, they make the team even better since you are covering your brawlers. But not in a damn assault!!
