Firstly I know, those things are very special, and were time limited in past etc...
Im talking about founders camo, robocop cammo, some unique cockpit items, and so on, which you cannot get anymore)

As a new player, for me its not possible to get the touch on these things, even id like to buy them fo some MC.) camos + cockpit items.

I know all of you who own the things would be against it, but id like to have for exampler atlas founder camo if possible....
But cannot due to being new player only. (relatively)

I have in my mind ONLY visual things, not the mechs (founder) itself, nor their loadout, cbills bonuses. Just visual things....

I heard there was some event, allowing to re-buy founder mechs at a later time, was it true ?

No founder, phoenix mechs and goodies with those packs wont be released again.

Things like the Founders camo were given to us paying players in Closed Beta for our contribution to help getting the game off the ground. It was one of many special things given to us for that financial help.

So I have to say no. Since you like it so much, I'm sorry you weren't here to participate back then, but that's just a bummer.

I'm assuming you mean other exclusive camos. Honestly, the Phoenix camo is pretty blah. I wouldn't worry too much about missing that one.

Really, thr regular camos seem to be thr better choice even if they lack that exclusive feel to them. For instance, I always had a soft spot for the Buccaneer myself. It looks great on my Hunchback 4P and Catapult K2.

Founders helped... alot... however, i would not say that they got the game off the ground you know... the game back then was up and running well before founder program started (it was already coded by someone else). It is also worth mentioning that it has changed very little compared to those days. There has been some improvements as well as some screw ups.

Founders i think were more like walking along side the game to help pick it up if it was going to fall off... it was already off ground when founders arrived.

IIRC There was a tournament a long time ago... winners got a camo as a reward (its not available on all mechs btw)

Don't count on it for any unique camo's, but as for cockpit items we lately saw the Spring Hula Girl, Operation 24 and Island items being available to win through a challenge again, with the first 2 they were challenge awards from way back and the Island was a rather unique item given out to just a few players.

Which is a bit of a shame really. Now, for instance I can no longer distinguish between my Jenner's 24 emblem (gotten ~2 years back in the days when I just began) versus the one that's now hanging inside my WubMaster. I would have liked it if they'd just changed a few colours on items like these. the ribbon colour on the 24 item for instance, the flower colours on the Spring Hula Girl's dress etc. etc. You could reuse these for yearly events for instance but you could still tell the difference (both in colour and name).

Realistically they had a minimum viable product, that is true. But when a product (Founders) generates about 5 million dollars for development, that impact can not be underestimated. There is s good chance this game would be radically different (yes even more stagnant) if that money wasn't there.

The big question is, how much REALLY went to development. Rumors fly about much of that going to MechWarrior Tactics and I'm sure it bought a nice boat for someone at IGP too.

Still, The Founders program was an important part of the game's fund raising. You might have thought I over exaggerated, but I think you under appreciate it as well too.

That kind of looks like it might be the Buccaneer camo. That camo often has lettering and other symbols painted on it. It varies from chassis to chassis, so the mech above might be the only one that says that with that scheme.

I think I might have got the wrong image,
It suppose to look like dazzle but there are gradient on the arms and legs.

Most games have exclusive items you had to be there to get; whether it's a special first anniversary item, a competition/contest reward, or whatever - their "value" lies in not everyone having them; they're a kind of a badge you wear to say "I was there".

It's the same with the Founder 'mechs and their camo, the Phoenix (P) 'mechs and their camo, and a few other odds and ends (the Sarah's Jenner for example, or the NVidia fairy, which was a promo that ended years ago).

You just have to deal with the fact that you cannot get a participation reward for something you did not participate in.
