After reading the newest posts from my thread "Confessions Of Failed Mechwarrior About Space Battles", I've found in Sarna.net a thing about "Laser Heat Sink".
In short version: It's a prototype Clan Tech created in 3051 which emits heat as a light (so you'll see mechs like with thermovision without using thermovision). For me, it should be a nice stuff to use in potential vacuum maps, which there isn't possible to use conventional Standard and Dual Heat Sinks (as mentioned in thread above, last posts).
PGI: Is there any chance to implement this?

So...you want to make it so no-one can use space maps unless they had Laser Heatsinks?
Hate to say it, but it's a terrible idea.
From what I can tell (the wording on the Sarna page is weird) Laser Heatsinks aren't affected by the environmental temperature, since they have to heat the gas in the first place.
Doubt it'll ever be added though.

there isn't a real upside to those compared to normal heatsinks
you just don't have negative effects on hotter worlds (reduction in efficiency) AND no benefits on cold worlds
in a way we have that as a quirk on one hero already
the hot exhaust gases from the engine (fusion engine) are lasered
the infrared spectrum of the light (which humans feel as heat, from flames, the sun etc.) is converted to "normal" light Columbia University - Ultracold molecules and then released through a set of mirrors
which can be seen on the battlefield, as a kind of "laser show" I guess
normal heatsinks are "just" radiators
