One of my favorite 'Mechs... and almost nobody in this thread can even spell its Inner Sphere name correctly.

Uninteresting 'Mech, sub-par outlook. And it was the machine of choice for the unskilled in MW4.

Quantity has a quality all its own, as the saying goes. And you can't get much more in the way of quantity for armor or weaponry than what a Dire Wolf brings to the table.

I never knew that. I'm studying Deutsch, not Japanese, so I knew "Jagermech", not Diashi. "Jager" means "Hunter" and it''s a German word in the Mech name, spoken as the German word.(Which means you would say it as "yah-gar")

Oh, I always pronounced it yay-grr, like the alcohol.

1) It's a 100 ton Assault Mech, and actually better than the Atlas.(But it's slower and doesn't have the electronics)
2) It's a Clan Mech. I don't know anymore of its history than that but the fact that it is Clan Tech means you won't see it anytime soon.(Assuming they let will players use Clan Tech at all)

So talking the real thing now namely Battle Tech, the Daishi was just as fast as an Atlas namely 3 hex walking speed and 5 hexes running, and it totally murdered anything the IS had one on one in any config. Being a Clan 100 Ton mech it was better at everything the IS had at the same weight, and an Annilaltor (which is a Mech that only the Wolfs Dragoons had where were Clanners themselves) had about as much hope against a Dashi as a snowball in hell. It was almost half as slow as a Dashi namly only 2 hexes walking and 3 running. What they did in the MW games is a perversion to the BT purists if truth be told, but that is another story.

For those of you thinking us clanners aren't going to make an appearance until 3050, perhaps you need to go back and study your lore.

The Clan Invasion (known to the as Operation Revival) refers to the massive Clan invasion of the Inner Sphere, commencing with the arrival of Clans Jade Falcon, Wolf, Ghost Bear, and Smoke Jaguar in the near, coreward Periphery (The Rift and The Draconian Drift) in August, 3049. The Clan Invasion would continue for two and one-half years, and increase in scope to include three more Invading Clans, but would end with the the Battle of Tukayyid in June,3052.

Technically, if MWO is in realtime and stays true to lore, us clanners will be able to make you 3025 guys start crying immediately. 8)

Die you stravag freebirths!

>Calls himself a "clanner"
>Uses a contraction immediately thereafter
>Tells others to study on their lore

Oh noes! Did I use a contraction? Maybe I'll have to do double penance on Iron Hold while Joanna rapes me.

Note, I'm a reject drunk and high clanner from the Black Sheep. We do things in the iron womb not even the other clans could accept. Including USE CONTRACTIONS, poor grammar and pooling our fire on individual targets.
